So Tilt can't do bank transfers, checks, and no longer wires money. There's basically no way to get it out of your account right now.

looks like it was short lived. I had a moneygram on the way but they cancelled it and took away the moneygram option all together. I read up on things and they're planning to have a solution within 48 hours.

^^ I havent been able to find much thats concrete. It looks like you can try to withdraw by check now on FT. Some posters on 2+2 claim that moneygram was available today, but I don't know how much I believe them. It looks like people are getting several different types of response from FT. When they sent out emails last night it said that people's information wasn't correct...so I imagine that didn't help their email flow any.

One of my friends tried to bluff call one time. He said "Call...I got nothing" We were like dude, what the hell. He said "I was trying to bluff". We still don't let him live it down.

^ I've seen that before. Guy called and said "I got Aces" and held his hand up in the air...the other guy threw his hand into the muck. Guy flipped over a bluff and won the pot.

Definately could use some feedback on this one...

Early in a $2 tourney, play is generally passive so far - a lot of limpers and a lot of called raises. I get 10-10 in the SB. 4 limpers when it gets to me...

I decide to limp, hit a set, won a big pot:

My thinking - making a big raise would still likely get called by multiple people, which meant

1) I'd be forced to play a big pot out of position

2) I'd likely face a tough decision if/when overcards hit

3) I'd be playing against typical bad players that may call me down with a hand they shouldn't have played (but nevertheless won with)

and...

4) If I hit a set or flopped three undercards I'd probably still get someone to call me down with the worse hand and still make money

Thoughts?

Mid pocket pairs are the hardest hands to play, I think. They're great starting hands but once the flop hits and there's overcards and you didn't hit a set you can get into trouble fast. With 4 limpers like that, you could have made a very large raise pre-flop if you'd felt like it and probably gotten 1-2 callers. Basically, whatever you can do to get the fewest number of people in the pot without risking too much money. That's my strategy, but take it with a grain of salt because I'm certainly no expert.

nh me. I had AK the hand before in the BB at this table and I made a mental note about wanting to shove over an open. Then I got distracted by the action on one of my other seven tables and when I looked back at this one all I noticed was the raise in front of me and I shoved. Apparently I had gotten a quick walk with the AK.

woot!

Interesting hand came up at my .5/1 home game tonight:

Me ($116) in BB w/ KcKx
3 limpers ---> I raise it to 3.50 ----> 2 calls

Flop comes:
4c 6c Jc

2 checks to me ----> I make it 15 ----> 1 fold, other player raises to 40 (he has me covered...~$200)

Have no read on the villain other than prior knowledge that he may be a bit laggy/spewy.

Whats my line?

I have ~$100 left...

since no one will answer your question, i guess I will...

That's a very tough question. I don't think he has an ace high flush or he would have slowed played you and any normal person would want a free card or want a cheap investment. He may have a set or top pair and not want club to hit. Or he could be representing a flush and bluffing. You'd probably have to pry pocket kings out of my cold dead hands in a cash game without an ace on the board...but depending on your feel of the situation, I think you either fold or shove...and I'd lean strongly towards shoving.

and I ask my cousin that who is a much better cash game player than me and he says...

"with a raise to 40 man so much depends on the read....id have to use some verbal tactics to get more info but...based on the limited info there id probably fold . a bigger reraise would probably protect a strong jack, and a more defensive bet would probably indicate a draw"

"It's about 50/50. i would def be verbally hunting for info"
