I had a sleeve gastrectomy two years ago. I just couldn't get the weight off and keep it off. And It's been that way my whole life. After my daughter was born, I hired a personal trainer and took a good 50 pounds off, but put it all back on and then some when my daughter had surgery. (I stress eat.) That was the last straw for me. I worked with the Duke Metabolic Weight Loss Clinic and with their assistance, overhauled my entire lifestyle. It is the best thing that I could have ever done for myself.

Surgery hasn't been a quick fix, but it's been an invaluable tool to help me change the way that I relate to food.

Hair is so long I look like a white boy with an afro when I step out of the shower. Slick it back with pomade and use the residual on chin.

Disclaimer: I have no experience with facial hair til COVID so the above information is speculative and likely worthless. I have a mustache and beard for fist time but it is homely at best and am in no place to make a reco.

I have some beard oil I use occasionally. Not part of my daily routine, though. I mostly just like the smell.
