No, I'm not trying to crack on your car. I'm just trying to figure out how in the blue jesus it's actually worth that much. Hell, there are cars 10 years newer selling for less...with more power. 6/25/2007 9:27:04 PM |

Because it's a classic dumbass. It's also kind of rare, and becoming more rare. I mean, look at cars from the 1960's and 1970's. They sell for alot more, and were only like $5000 new. 6/25/2007 9:29:04 PM |

Boy, I have more blue blood in my veins than you could ever dream of. I can rock a piece of shit service truck with dignity. It's not about what you drive, kind sir...it's about WHO YOU REALLY ARE. And I don't need something like a Z28 to define my character.6/25/2007 11:39:46 PM |

1988 toyota land cruiser fj62 4.0L I6 motor and automatic trans (as all 62's are). it's just had a full tune up and i'll be putting a new fan belt on it tomorrow.
it has some rust in the lower rear quarters and in the rockers. otherwise, the body is good and the paint is decent.
passenger seat has a large stain and the driver seat has a tear, but the rest of the interior is in good shape. has an xm radio receiver and still has service, but i'm not sure for how long. all the windows, lights, etc. work. a/c blows cold as well.
overall, it's a very solid truck. runs and drives great. 4wd works good.
the price is $4000obo. if you know cruisers, you know that's alot less than a solid 60/62 is worth. i'm discounting for the rust. if that's fixed, it's an easy $5-6k or more vehicle. personally, i don't understand the cult like attraction to them but it is what it is. they are pretty cool trucks though, and somewhat rare. 6/29/2007 5:25:21 PM |

FS 1993 Range Rover LWB project, not asking a cent more than I have in it and its well worth it. $1000. Needs a valve job, easiest way to go here is just install some later model heads on the engine, I can cut you a deal on those parts too seperately. Also available seperately is a sweet roofrack, 3in lift, etc. All you need to have a badass wheelin rover is the time on your hands, a set of 32-33 in tires, and about 2k. OR buy the truck as is, put a couple hundred in it and flip it, making at the very least a thousand bucks in profit. I do this kind of thing pretty regularly, but dont have the time for this one this month and I need this money to invest elsewhere. My loss is your gain. Pulling the heads on this is as easy as any old domestic pickup truck, Rover used a buick engine after all.

after pricing some repair panels, i'm going to drop the price a little more. $3500obo. i have found both rear quarters and both rockers for ~$800. that's from a place the specializes in used cruiser parts, you might be able to find them cheaper from an individual doing a part out.7/7/2007 2:25:29 PM |
