really? i thought we were later in the season. he still hasnt scored in a while.two assists in one game is of course great. i just dont think he will get the recogniztion without continuing to score.[Edited on January 10, 2006 at 11:26 PM. Reason : =]

1/11/2006 12:46:15 AM
The really quick 3 shots the redwings did on gerber was fucking nuts. I'm so glad I went to this game. jesus christ, it was a mad house in the stands during the last 2 minutes. And the canes were #1 in the NHL for awhile
1/11/2006 2:10:33 AM
That game was awesome. If I wasn't sick with the flu I would've been there, but at least I got to see it on TV. Aaron Ward will also be missing 3-6 weeks to undergo surgery to repair a hernia.http://www.carolinahurricanes.com/news/news.asp?articleid=1433
1/11/2006 12:22:41 PM
Shit that sucks
1/11/2006 12:31:59 PM
my voice is hoarse from all the screaming/cheering/booing (of the refs) last night.it was worth it, though. if nothing else today, I got to give a big smile to the office dead wings fan.[Edited on January 11, 2006 at 1:05 PM. Reason : .]
1/11/2006 1:05:19 PM
absolutely the best hockey game i've been too, and i've been to quite a number
1/11/2006 2:53:03 PM
The Sens and Flyers both lost tonight, so if Carolina wins tomorrow night, they will be in sole possession of first place in the NHL for at least 15 hours or so.
1/12/2006 10:05:25 PM
Are there still tix for Ronny Francis night???I just watched the Mark Messier Night at the Garden (Rangers are, of course, my favorite team -- Canes 2nd) and would LOVE to see one of those type things in person..** Oh and for fuckers who will have shit to say I guarantee I saw Ron Francis play in person before you did..[Edited on January 12, 2006 at 10:13 PM. 1/12/2006 10:17:02 PM
Doesn't really mean anything but seriously.. are there tix left?
1/12/2006 10:19:51 PM
If you really cared, you'd have tix by now.I mean, I know people in Toronto who have tickets for that game.

i just called the box office. they said the 10.29 seats and the mezzanine are sold out.
1/13/2006 6:12:35 PM
can someone tell me what PIM means?
1/13/2006 6:29:14 PM
PIM: PIM is an abbreviation that is used to indicate a player’s total Penalties - in minutes.
1/13/2006 6:38:36 PM
3-1 CANES!Brindy, Hutchinson, Cole all have goals
1/13/2006 7:38:19 PM
I'll be there Sunday! Finally making a game. Glad they're up now. Does Stahl have any points?
1/13/2006 8:17:26 PM
nah, Staal has an assist though
1/13/2006 8:51:19 PM
are we #1 in the league yet?
1/13/2006 8:58:46 PM
If they hang on for this win, they will be tied for 1st in the league with Philadelphia.
1/13/2006 9:11:48 PM
WTF? They scored from center ice?
1/13/2006 9:16:23 PM
DAMN. I can't believe I didn't get tickets to that game.Kaberle wins it on a penalty shot in overtime! 5-4 Canes![Edited on January 13, 2006 at 9:38 PM. Reason : !!!!!!!111]

why the fuck wasn't it on tv????now all I get is 8 seconds of the game on sportscenter cause ESPN couldn't care less about hockey

You can also see free highlights of every game every night at NHL.com
1/13/2006 9:46:55 PM
holy shnikeys, what a game!crowd was pretty volatile tonight, but definitely goodI did not expect Kaberle to put on a move like that, gg
1/13/2006 10:09:11 PM
JUST HOLY SHIT... HOLY FRANK KABERLE'S SHIT.
1/13/2006 10:09:16 PM
horrible refs tonight...how many times did vokoun wind up smacking someone with his stick? great game, nonetheless. i have a feeling gerber won't be too anxious to leave his crease for a while after that fluke goal.BTW - it's worthwhile to mention that the Canes are once again #1 in the entire league, at least through tomorrow afternoon [Edited on January 13, 2006 at 10:14 PM. Reason : .]
1/13/2006 10:12:57 PM
Awesome awesome game tonight! Glad to see the Canes hang on and pull this one out. Lots of weird stuff went on tonight with penalties, weird puck bouncing and then a penalty shot in OT. But a win is a win and it's great to say that we are #1 in the NHL!!!GO CANES!!!!!
1/13/2006 10:19:53 PM
KICK ASS.
1/13/2006 10:24:35 PM
1/13/2006 10:29:45 PM
but on a sour note, Commodore is hurt with a lower body injury, runnin thin on D now
1/13/2006 10:30:56 PM
and to think, people were asking why we have/had so many d-men.
1/13/2006 10:32:18 PM
Lavi does ride his dmen hard
1/13/2006 10:38:29 PM
it's hockey, not tiddlywinks
1/13/2006 10:45:25 PM
FRANKIE KABERLE!he is my family's favorite playerbtw, why did vokoun get a 10 minute misconduct at the end of the game?[Edited on January 13, 2006 at 10:54 PM. Reason : -]
1/13/2006 10:53:03 PM
Threw his stick at the glass after he was scored on
1/13/2006 10:54:09 PM
dangerously close to going into crowd, way to show your ass tonight Tomas
1/13/2006 11:53:01 PM
1/14/2006 12:05:00 AM
1/14/2006 12:17:19 AM
shit, we're running out of defensemen. Proabably gonna call Danny Richmond up from Lock Monsters.
1/14/2006 12:37:41 AM
Commodore should be okay, Hedican just broke his nose. Danny might come up, and he might not. We played okay with six tonight.
1/14/2006 12:43:19 AM
^^^ If thats the case then its worth mentioning that Sundays 130PM game vs St. Louis is untelevised in our market but available on Center Ice.
1/14/2006 10:23:17 AM
we really need to get our hands a star defenseman
1/14/2006 10:28:44 AM
Haha I just noticed with last nights win the Canes have 29 wins and 62 points. In 2002-2003 and 2003-2004 the Canes had 22 and 28 wins respectively. In 2002-2003 they finished with 61 points.Last night was Hurricanes Game #43 I believe.. haha what a difference.p.s. - that was the best regular season hockey game I've ever been to...[Edited on January 14, 2006 at 10:33 AM. Reason : 43 not 42]
1/14/2006 10:32:15 AM
Also, the most points ever gained in a season by the Hurricanes/Whalers was 93, and they are on pace to easily smash that this season.
