I also agree. He had no choice but to give Italian a red card. Ours was a yellow, and a valid one. He gave a red because Italy is such a big name and refs try to even it up for hte big name teams.

i am suprised by how well we're playing. we're much more aggressive, as we should be, and our flankers are doing their job. couple of points though:

- dempsey, fucking pass the goddamn ball. you got the footwork, but you need to get rid of the ball sooner. you hold onto it too long, and the shooting window closes. pass!
- eddie pope, get your tarhole ass of the field you piece of shit. what a shitty defender. his idea of defense seems to be holding and/or pushing down his opponent. oh yeah, way to leave your mark on italy's lone goal. and you can't pander to international officials for a call. what a tarhole move. you're not in chapel hill anymore. stay with your goddamned man. i know #'s are assigned by position, but you're disgracing the #23.
- onyewu, way to step up, son! you're shutting down luca toni. stay on him.
- mazzara (sp?), thanks for giving us a goal. also, thanks for pissing off your teammates to the point where one of them gets redcarded for elbowing our mcbride. appreciate it!
