yea my HD kept cutting out, stayed in Standard for most of 3rd until like a minute left in game...so weak.

Other than that what a game! Nice to see Ottawa really step it up and win this one.

I'm watching the postgame interviews now and all they are talking about is the elbow hit. Seriously, how did 4 refs not see it????

BTW: There was no kicking motion till after the puck deflected off his skate, if you can't see that u're blind. His skate was actually moving backwards slightly right before the puck deflected off.

Erm, that's what a kicking motion is. Your foot is moving backwards, and you push forward as the puck hits it. It was absolutely a kick.

Pronger will be suspended for at least a game, I'm sure.

Sorry gotta disagree. Swung foot around, angled, deflection, stopping motion. That's what I saw. I dunno guys, it never really looked like a kicking motion to me. Get HD, then you can make the call

The elbow hit is a lot more serious anyway. Why not talk about that?

Hmmm, could be wrong but I thought for a goal to be a "non-goal" during a kicking motion the puck had to go off the skate as the kicking motion is in the process. Not as I stated as a deflection, THEN a kicking motion.

He's just on the end of the backswing when the puck arrives, and he follows through. It's not a "sweep a loose puck into the net" type of kick, but it's still a kick.

Really, it's all irrelevant because Toronto has been calling no-goals when there's no kicking motion at all, just a hockey stop, for over a year and a half. They don't know what the fuck's going on any time they get the call, so they just make it up.

The elbow hit is fairly simple, an elbow to the head can easily be a five and a game, so give him a game and be done with it.
