fucking stellar ending. My drunken glaze was still in effect at the end, but I did have some clarity that I normally do not possess at the end of a hockey game. Glad we decided on LL South tickets so we could see all the magic right in front of us.

That game gave me some hope that we can turn into the team that was dominant back in 05-06, because that was definitely some 05-06 shit right there.

Me and Cherokee were talking about going to the all-star game in Atlanta, but upper level tickets are $195 each (for the game and the skills competition), so I'm thinking maybe the Friday night game in Atlanta on January 4th.

Yeah I always go nuts when I see people walking out; it never fails that there will be a one goal game with two minutes left and people are streaming to the exits. It's not like traffic is ever that bad to begin with, and is leaving a minute early really going to save that much time? And if 5 minutes is that important to them, maybe they shouldn't be at the game to begin with. I'm always cheering for comebacks in these situations for two reasons: 1, of course, because I want the team to win, but 2, because I want those people who have just left the arena to get outside and hear the roar of the crowd and the goal horn going off.
