Kinda cool that 316 landed on the runway that was being built during season 3
And wtf Christian
Other than that, it was kind of boring 3/19/2009 12:16:39 AM |

i do think its funny the disparity between the first time Ben visits Sayid in the holding cell and the first time Sayid visits Ben in the holding cell

It's also possible that he is the last baby born on the island. If that's the case, the others may have wanted to keep him for testing/observation.
Or maybe some of the DI/survivors split off with the others before the purge. I mean, considering that Richard knows about the time travel and has actually met some of them in the past, he may actually be a better ally than the DI people. And I can't think of a situation where the Others, at least those with Richard, have ever intentionally hurt a survivor for no apparent reason. And I think Juliet would definitely take baby Ethan if she was leaving and knew everyone else was in danger.3/19/2009 12:32:53 AM |

nice.
I know some folks are calling this a filler episode, but I still liked it. I thought the Jack/Sawyer interaction was crucial, to solidify the fact that Sawyer is the f'in man and he's running shit now, while Jack is running around like a chicken with his WTF head cut off. Also, is it possible that in "the purge" they spared the children and incorporated them into "the others?" That would explain Ethan being an other and there's no telling who else could've been a Dharma baby/child.
^They were attacking Amy more than 2 years prior to when she got preggers, so I assume that wasn't their motivation.

Along with many of you I thought the most interesting thing was that Ethan was Dharma originally. I also enjoyed Sawyer destroying Jack's self esteem.
I saw someone else had mentioned it as well - maybe everything that happened was effectively set up by them going into the past. I have a feeling they are going to somehow trigger the purge, and that "Jacobs" list, which could actually be Bens list is the names of the people he will eventually meet in the past. 3/19/2009 8:43:42 AM |

Eloise Hawking told them that if everybody didn't go back (Aaron? Walt? Desmond?) the outcome would be "unpredictable." But really, Sun didn't go back so that her and Jin would still not be reunited and they could milk that drama for a handful of episodes or until the season finale or until the following season.3/19/2009 12:39:38 PM |

Just because it wasn't the actress that plays Claire, doesn't mean it wasn't Claire. I, too, was under the impression that we wouldn't see much of Jacob/Christian this season and he's been around a bit. 3/19/2009 4:48:57 PM |

according to this lost podcast...
Rebecca Maeder changed her birthday to 1979 on the set because she didn't want to portray a 38 year old (lol) and none of the editors had a problem with it.. So for those of you who were saying Charlotte wasn't born yet its because when she changed her name no one knew there was time travel next seazon

While this past episode disappointed me given the commercials and the 2wk wait, I still am very impressed where this show is going overall.
And for the record - jack and juliet arent done. Neither are sawyer and kate.
All the females I watch this show with DEMAND more drama between these four and the writers/editors/etc will make sure their female audience is satisfied.
The fuck swap scenario was setup nicely in this last episode despite Sawyer's new willpower.... 3/19/2009 9:19:45 PM |

I got a mechanics jumpsuit for halloween last year. It was used too, so i didn't have to age it as much. I was Stuntman "Hot Rod" Rod Kimble. It was light blue but I remember them having other colors too. I think I paid $36.
Maybe it was cheaper than I'm thinking... Here's where I got mine.

^^Yeah, I didn't realize that when i bought mine. I'd go a size or two bigger than you think, you have to factor in a couple hundred washings/dryings. The first one I ordered my suit jacket size (44) and I could barely get it on. Ended up with a 48 iirc.
Good quality, yes. Good enough for a mechanic to wear everyday.
