Nothing really exciting. The GF and I are still doing well. She is still unemployed.

The chick with cancer that got denied unemployment got an employment attorney to take her case pro-bono. He is trying to get her out of her non-compete, and if he can't, he is going to pursue legal action against our former boss. Can't really go into much more detail about that here.

I guess that's the nature of the American economy: less regulation, more litigation. Europe is the opposite and look where that got France: consistently lower growth during boom times, slower recovery from recessions and immense (youth) social problems due to unusually high unemployment levels (for a developed country).

There is a happy medium though: Ireland!! (Though our economy is still in bad shape.)
