What are you guys' favorite guns? I'm having the most luck with the M4A1 even though I just started using it today. I just aim way better with it.

Also, I've been playing mostly objective games but I just teamed up with my brother-in-law online (who is terrible btw -- had a 1:11 game) with team deathmatch express and I am a .69 K but was at least +20 in the 3 games I just played...

V yeah, SCAR is definitely my second gun. i havent played ALL that much... still LVL 16. I'm gonna keep doing TDM until I get over 1.00 K/D. I was like 175:250 before that little TDM run if that shows how little I've played.

I've been using the FAMAS and RPD; I don't think I've used anything else yet, unless I pick it up off a dead body

But I have many attachments and camouflages for each of those guns, so its kind of worth it

i've mastered the FAMAS. Ended up being a great gun. Right now i'm trying to master the M4A1 and the UMP45.

I'll probably more to the SCAR or TAR21 afterwards

I never see myself getting a kill streak large enough to call in a chopper or a harrier or airstrike..

last round I had 9 kills and 18 deaths, and that is a GOOD match

^^I'm hit or miss...since buying the game Friday evening, I already have gotten two separate 18-kill streaks...however it seems that when I load up the Predator, Harrier and Attack Chopper at 5,7,9 I might get to 5 kills once that round

After playing for about a day on multiplayer, I have come to the conclusion that Infinity Ward fucked up royally. No one uses UAVs anymore in hopes of the fucking killstreaks so any ground war turns into almost hardcore mode. And the roof camping has got to end. These maps are just ripe for lameass kids sitting 3 floors up sniping spawn zones. It's a damn joke.

Which is kind of true, but like Astral Advent said, UAV's only need back-to-back kills with the Hardline perk

But people are still gonna keep UAV equipped for awhile to get the general challenges, and there will always be n00bs and people fresh off prestiging that want to get the general challenge, or simply havent unlocked enough other killstreak perks yet

i always use UAV. it helps immensely. I use UAV, sentry, harrier. I dont get high killstreaks often enough to merit the use of them (even though i usually get really good scores). Even though they are powerful, they are also very vulnerable against a smart team. I just played a game where me and another guy were sporting the stinger. Throughout the match, the team called in 2 copters and 2 harriers, and they were both shot down immediately by us.

Getting the Chopper Gunner killstreak on Afghan pretty much guarantees me a nuke.

btw, the best way to get one:
Harrier > Chopper Gunner > Nuke

^^I'm going to have to try some of the first-person aircraft gunner perks...playing as you normally would and just calling in a computer-controlled chopper or Harrier is good and everything but I'm interested to see how those perks look since you can't experience any of them in the single player campaign

^ its fucking amazing. Chopper gunner can shoot through buildings. basically you get in the plane/chopper, and spam click on all the red squares you see on the map. you will get kills out the ass.

For all that are complaining about getting shot one time and dying, just remember that the Kill Cam only shows you the shot(s) that actually kill you. If someone got an assist on you, you would never know it. I don't know how many times I got +10 for an assist and I'm sure the person yelled WTF at the Kill Cam haha. I get a lot of assist.

^cant remember the regular name, but the ones that are like, get 50 kills while crouching, jump from 15 feet or higher and survive, jump from 30 feet to your death

basically just the challenges that arent specific to a particular weapon

anyone currently have the ACR?...I can't wait till I get that gun!!! I've really only been using two classes and a sniper class
Class1: Scar with holo, AA-12, hardline, and I can't remember the other perks with a grenade and two flash

Class2: Vector with holo, stinger, stopping pro, scavenger(thing goes through rounds quick!!) and grenade and two flash

...other than that I just have the intervention maxxxed out for sniping (stop power pro) with G18 as backup...and insertion (amazing)

This matchmaking is extremely dissapointing. Everygame is lagging with no more than 3 ping bars, I am considering taking it back to the store if they dont release some patch that makes it actually put you in local games.

Just wanted to point out that the Cold Blooded perk means I don't show up on the UAV, the sentry won't shoot at me, and the Harrier won't shoot at me (and I don't show up in the target map for the harrier strike).

^^most of the time I get 3 green bars (or is it 4 out of 5?) but occasionally I'll get the full bars. But when I don't its frustrating as hell.

Also several times now i've been put into a match thats less than 30 seconds from being over and I'm on the losing team...don't even have time to find someone to get a kill...does this count as a loss? I don't even get any XP at the end of the match.

^same here + ninja pro. I'm not seen on anyones radar, heartbeat sensors and no footsteps even when sprinting.

Hey Online FPS players that live/have lived on campus:

How would you rate ResNet as far as an ISP when playing video games?

I am trying to find out if it is InfinityWard's matchmaking or my internet that is the problem.

EDIT: NVM, I just checked the InfinityWard Forums and it seems tons of people are having this problem. Hopefully there will be some fix.

i can't tell you how many times i've clearly been shot by only one person and it still seems like it only took one or two bullets to kill me. it fucking sucks when they miss me with like 5 bullets and i can't even hear them so i'd be able to react, yet i'm dead before i even know what hit me. that and last stand piss me off more than anything in the COD games.
