I feel like I've been emotionally cheated on, not sure about physical. : \ To me, when you start hanging out with some girl and then dump me a few months later and a month after that start dating her (after she has dumped her significant other as well) -- that's emotionally cheating.

Maybe it's because women tend to be more emotional? Personally I see women cheating on men just as much as men cheat on women so I"m not sure why the stigma is what it is or why men have the worst reputation. (That was a long sentence, sorry..) I think the reputations should be equal. There will always be cheaters on both sides of the fence.. Women can be catty and manipulative so maybe that's why it tends to be more emotional on their part. It seems like men usually cheat when they just don't think about it and go with their sexual urges

Although, I know there will always be exceptions to these stereotypes..

if you have a couple of friends who have been dating for 4 years. one day the girl breaks up with the guy (who is your best friend) unannounced. i'll also note that they were in engaged. the next day after the break up the girl starts dating a guy she is working with.

now she wants me to "meet him" for like an approval of "look at my new boyfriend".

Well, I feel you can speak outwardly about what you feel is right to you without looking down on anyone but I think quite a few people go off the deep end when speaking outwardly about such things and end up looking extremely judgmental. I think there's a big difference between expressing your beliefs and what you feel is right and forcing it onto others in a rude and condescending way...
