I'd be fine with 7-5 (bowl eligible). Our offense with the new scheme will struggle against solid defense. I think our defense suffers less with the loss of Irving. Cole and Manning are ready to step up as leaders (not only in stats, but in making big plays like Irving did in the FSU game last year). I'm not sold on the improvement of our DE unless they prove it on the field. Given the fact we lost many key players in key positions last year, I think 7-5 is reasonable. Again, TOB keeps his job by beating up UNCheat.

Beating a depleted UNC won't mean much to me. Losing to them would mean everything.

This would have been a great year for another in-state-championship run but we're only playing 2 NC teams.

I'm not trying to be a jerk (though I am really good at it) but the schedule has been out for months, and there was even a stink about it (people accused Yow of backing out of a home-home agreement because of last year's loss). How did you just now realize that ECU wasn't on the schedule?

They usually alternate what song plays at the beginning of practice. One day it's a coach's choice, next day a player's. Just have to wait and see.

Why would we ever play at ECU? We don't have to. If they want to play us, they can come to Carter-Finley. It's not our responsibility to help them with their home schedule. Playing in Greenville helps them, and does absolutely nothing for us.

I wonder how many times Michigan State goes to Central Michigan to play.

^^ dead nuts on. Make some time to go hits some bars that weekend. Great ratio of guys/girls and definitely hot woman all over FSU.

As for the game, be prepared to hear the Tomahawk chop 75 times. Seriously that is the only cheer they do. It is dreadfully annoying. I remember back in 97 during the Torry 5 TD game, the FSU fans doing their tomahawking as Torry returned a punt for a TD.

A lot of their fans are cocky assholes, but I have not been back in a long time so maybe they've mellowed out since their team has been average the past 10 years.

I went to the FSU game 2 years ago. It was their homecoming game on Halloween night, and it was daylight savings, so bars were open 1 extra hour that night.



... it was awesome. I Suggest going to Bulwinkles on Friday night. $10 cover, but all well drinks are free
