I hardly peed for most of my kidney infection...they thought it was my appendix.. so you have any tummy pain?

what did your kidney infection feel like? how do they diagnose it at the doctor? do you just get antibiotics?

i couldn't fall asleep until after 5am because i couldn't get comfortable because my stupid backside hurts so much ahhh.

During my kidney infection I had a dream that my house was burning down with me in it. I woke up and my bed was soaked with sweat. My bed was on a loft so I would have to crawl up and down the steps to get water. I didn't have the energy, so I just kept going back to sleep. I also didn't have bottled water which made it even more difficult to stay hydrated. That was a really long walk from Lee Hall to the Health Center that day. I didn't have to go to the hospital though and I think they just gave me some strong antibiotics. I started feeling better pretty quickly after getting the pills. But I would recommend going as soon as possible to avoid a fever.

yea i don't have a fever that is why i'm like, should i go to the doctor?

but i also DID have a small fever last night

today i've been taking ibprof and tylenol because my back hurts so bad so...that could be why i don't have a fever. i don't know.

i was going to go to urgent care today but i have too much to do to wait there forev and am scared they are just going to be like "you're retarded"

so i am going to wait and see how it is tomorrow and then go to my doctor. hopefully a fever doesn't develop in the meantime. that would suck.

i definitely feel tired and kind of like vomiting. BUT i also couldn't fall asleep until honestly after 5am because i couldn't get comfortable because my left side back hurts so bad. so i don't know...that is prob why i'm tired and yucky feeling.

Sorry for the late response kadwackle.. I fell asleep

I had a small pain in the bottom right side of my stomach that wouldn't go away and got worse over the day... by about 1 pm it was unbearable so I went to urgent care, then the er. Determined it was a kidney infection and I didn't have the burning pee until after I left. Took some antibiotics for a few days and was good to go

i have a pain in the top left side of my stomach (like under my ribs kinda) and then REALLY bad back left flank pain like bad bad starting from the end of my ribs all the way down my leg to the back of my knee. and i have only peed thrice in the past 2 days but i would only consider one of those a real pee.

and now the BFs mom emailed her doctor and they were like "you should go to the er TONIGHT" and i'm all like "ahhhh no"

if i vom or fever i will go to the er. otherwise i'm just going to wait until tom and try to get worked into my doctor.
