we look like we have approximately the same skin tone and i know that blonde definitely washed me out something awful--from this pic, i think your hair color goes well on you and would suggest a cut with some layering instead of changing color

hahaha wednesday adams. troof

I like dark hair but I've done it! Only color I haven't done is blonde. And I'm hoping to tan and I turn golden when I tan sooooooooooo that will offset the washoutedness. I just dont know if I wanna pay $ for something that might look terrible...hmmm

lol while I think that collection has some great stuff, none of it is Calypso

I want their sleeveless shirt with the braided-looking collar/straps, but i look like a moron in it. Those shoes were on sale...a whopping $1 off!

I wanted the metalic sandals like that. But then my friend bought them, so I said no.

There's a super cute tunic from calypso that I want. We shall see

Dude that's a huge business. Look at crewcuts for j.crew. People love being able to dress their kids like them especially for photos or family gatherings.

That necklace is stunning!!

Love it.

I bought this necklace on Thursday at Bijuju in North Hills. Def my fave jewelry store. Everything is so cheap.

I just love how obnoxious it is. haha

Has this DIY pore strip substitute been posted before?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-bjOB4zS0uE&feature=share

If so has anyone actually tried it? I might have to.

Tried it.... While it works, it also feels like duct tape would be less painful....

So in comparison to the actual strips it's way worse? I may still try it. I have a freaky pain tolerance.

omg DDK that suit is sooooooo cute!!!!! love the color and cut! good choice!

i also like that they have the regular brief bottoms. i mean i don't want high waisted mom briefs, but i am bigger on bottom than top (always have been, even when i'm not fat) and i cannot stand tie or string bottoms. they just look terrible on me. i need a lil somethin somethin on my thighs/butt.

does anybody have any opinions on whether to stick with leather Rainbows or try the hemp ones...

I would stick with the leather. Literally, Rainbows are the only thing I wear from like...March-November, unless I'm at the gym, at work, or dressed up with some cute sandals. The hemp ones just don't look like they would be as comfortable. And they would probably wear out quicker if they get wet, and hold smell. I've never had any so I can't back that up, but just speculation!

well shit...then i might be about to drop $200 on sandals

but it would still be $180 if I went with the hemp...

so i may as well stick with what I know...

maybe I'll buy 2 pair this month and 2 pair next month...

i just fell in love with all the colors

^all rainbows wear like shit when you try them on...it's after the meld to your feet that they become the most awesome things ever....i was wondering about the long haul differences

[Edited on June 8, 2011 at 12:53 PM. Reason : i've been wearing these for 8 years so i guess it's a reasonable investment ]

^^^^^ inorite?! they had it in pink, black and red too but green is my fave color

there were 2 other bottoms that could have gone with it (skirt, and a frilly sides brief thing) but they looked kind of heinous so i'm glad i finally found the brief bottoms. those were almost as hard to find as the top in my size

i like ddk's bikini! i am thinking about getting one for when we go to the far north, there shouldn't be anybody around to blind with my flesh. I've never paid attention to bikini styling much. bikini top and shorts- hot or not?

How long does nail polish take to dry and does it go bad? I tried some last night and it was still gummy after 45 mins. Don't think it's all going to come off, just easier to go buy a new one and cover it up. FML

you mean it wont come off with nail polish remover?

Once it's constantly separating in the bottle (after a couple of shakes) I think it's time to throw away

I got some in the little corners between the toenail and the skin. Rather than soak my feet in polish remover I think I'll just do it over again with a different polish. I used black, so the leftover would be noticable. I tried this because I'll be wearing open toe shoes to a wedding in a week and think toenails generally look bad. But right now mine look worse.

That is 31.99 from Swoozies (monogram included)

Just found some on sears.com for 13.99 that I could take to have monogrammed.

Now am I lazy or thrifty today?

ok so idk if this has been brought up before but it's worth bringing up again anyway

I found this place by accident via a google search for consignment furniture and decided it was worth checking out and seriously ladies you MUST at least check this place out

everything designer thrifting! it's called dress. and it's on the corner of glenwood and hillsborough st (right by snoopy's)

admittedly I myself did not find anything but I am a giant and i have boobs that fit into absolutely nothing (sigh). however for girls that wear normal sizes this place looked like it would be amazing. and they have designer bags, shoes and other accessories as well, so I thought I'd let y'all know

^^^ yes what is the price range like.

So I got a new curling iron today - one of those Remington clampless wands that get super hot really fast.

I have thick wavy hair and this heat and humidity is driving me nuts because I either can't blow dry it or it falls weird/frizzes/feels blah so I got the curling wand, blow dry my hair (with just my fingers and my round brush to smooth out any funky waves) and then curled thehair with the wand. Ahhhhh I am in love. So easy to do and it created the fun curls/waves that are popular right now.

Also last night I taught myself how to do a front french braid. And then I rocked one today at work.

Yup. Can't ever find anything that fits. And there's NO way my body is legitimately a size 00. I should be able to find clothes that fit.

Prices varied. I saw tops and dresses ranging from 30s all the way up to like 160ish. I saw a lily pulitzer dress for like 50 or 55 in there. There was an entire 10 dollar rack (though it was meh tbh). I'm sure some of the stuff is lower priced than 30s but I was really only looking at dresses

They had a whole room for designer jeans and another for shoes. It was awesome.

And begonias we totally need to make an amazon woman clothing store

As for tiny people, there was loads of xs and like size 2 stuff there
