ultimately i'll end up in charlotte or raleigh if i stay in NC.. but buying a condo at a great deal to avoid throwing money away on rent for the year or two i'll be around this area isn't a bad idea.. and it's the best location for me that there really is in greensboro

and hopefully in the next 1-2 years the real estate market will get back in the right direction and i'll come out OK on it
