I'd love to be able to use this woman again (we already know we have to remodel the bathroom(s) soon). But if you check out my 'we're having the kitchen remodeled' thread, you'll see how TERRIBLE this woman is with communication. She and her guys do great work. I'm just not willing to put up with having to pull every piece of information from her.

You and I know that's a good starting point.

My bf, who, at the time all this was started, hammered out, and agreed upon, wasn't my bf...he hates making decisions so much he puts them off til the last minute. It's one of the few things I genuinely hate about him.

And we'd already seen the quality of her work in elise's old apartment. That made it easy to take the number she gave us.

I honestly don't know whether ~18K is all that expensive for how much work we had done (which was a LOT).

I also had no idea he never signed a contract for the work until after the original completion date

I don't know how we'll find someone with her positive attributes (she was exceptionally helpful in designing all this), but we'll manage somehow.
