Would you put it in a bubble of water? Or just let it dry up?

I would create an intense water filtration system through the headband and feed it into the starfish's mouth

problem. solved.

I never thought I would tuck my shirt in very much after my mother bitched at me about it for years as a kid, but I am a fan of this style for summer

(I know it's simple, but I don't feel like accessorizing today.)

I'm actually starting to like the tucked in shirt look more and more weird.

Oh and LOOK HOW LONG MY HAIR IS NOW

eek

I found myself tucking in my shirt with a long flowy skirt a few times last summer. I loved the look as well which surprised me being a chronic untucker

well thank you ladies

yeah, LK - I was always fighting against the tucked look.... thankfully, my mom didn't mention it when I wore something like this around her last time

Minka - I got it from IKEA!

I just tried looking online and I don't think they have that one anymore :\ but they have lots of styles with the cubby type things... I liked how these were all different sizes. AND it's super sturdy.

if they cut the top part off?

I keep mine on a cork board but its one of the super fancy stylish ones.

This isn't it but you get the idea. I keep the earrings and bracelets and necklaces on it.

YES!

Is it old school and thick metal like that, or the cheap flipsy rakes of todays time?

Important question here!

Metallic jewelry on a rake like that might see galvanic corrosion over time

(Rust)

Wouldnt be a bad idea to put electrical tape on the teeth of it, unless you only have plastic jewlery

Yes, or anything else that would block electrical contact/conductivity.

Hell paint would probably work too

Just got my shoes from WHBM in the mail. Not only are the even better in person, but they are actually really really comfortable. I could stand all day in them I think. They are perfect. Best $30 ever spent.

I did a bunch of research regarding how to store jewelry a few months ago and this was the awesome solution I found...

They were discounted when I bought them for like $7 a piece I think. They are double sided so you can hang numerous necklaces on them and then just hang them in your closet.

I bought two and they hold a lot since they are meant for belts.

Last thing I want are my necklaces swishing around in my closet.

I'd rather hang them on the wall somewheres. I thought about getting pretty drawer pulls and putting them in the wall and using my necklaces like art, since most of them are prettiful

LOL I imagine someone dumping out all that shit on the bed and just pawing through it, a tangle of necklaces, cussing, then dumping it all back in

haha unless there is a strong wind in your closet, they don't do much swishing.

I have a shelf to the side of my closet where the bar is actually above the shelf but you can't actually hang any clothes there so that is where I keep them.

[Edited on June 21, 2011 at 3:45 PM. Reason : I thought about doing the wall thing, but my husband would not approve. haha]

I like the drawer pull idea. Except I could see my cats being dicks and doing everything in their power to pull them off the walls.

Great dress, Sam!!! I loooove the color!

Also, I keep my jewelry in one of these hanging on a hook on my bathroom door. It's not as cute as the rake idea, but it's practical. And I have a lot of jewelry
