anywho, the dress is Calvin Klein and I got it for $65, woot! (It was $130 originally)
I also got a pencil skirt for like $7
andddddd I got this stuff from Urban Outfitters (I was kinda bad today)
bicycle sweater and red striped shorts!
the shorts have cute front pockets, AND they're soft
and I really couldn't pass these up....

i was just thinking about jewelery organizing the other day
i need an earring tree like whoa. but i want an interesting one. something like this:
will probably check etsy.
though i guess making one out of chicken wire would be easy.
I JUST GOOGLED IT i think i will prob do the chicken wire idea. i have some old mirrors that i could take the mirror out of and use the frame to make it all vintagey looking. something along these lines, but with a bigger more interesting frame (one that will hang on a wall). and maybe some hooks attached to the wire at the bottom for necklaces:

i am def going to do the wire one now. i know we have wire in my dad's shed
and i have lots of framed things that aren't being used that i will just deframe. one is a mirror with an awesome vintage frame. i'm definitely gonna do that. and somehow figure out how to incorporate hooks to hang necklaces
may or may not spray paint the wire BUT with the frame i'm thinking about it will probably look best just to have plain wire + the frame UNLESS i sprayed it a really funky color like teal or robin's egg blue or an antique green
oh AND i too feel this way, sam!!
Quote : | "^I want your bicycle shirt." | SO CUTEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
edit: on the subject of wire earring holders, i bet you could even make cool ones with photographs still IN the frame and just having wire over it but the photographs or paintings in the background. it would take some experimenting but i think it could be done in a cool way.

I may have posted this before, but it is my favorite way to window shop right now.

you pick a few categories to cross search, then hit show new, and click like it on the stuff you like, and it starts showing you more stuff that is similar to the stuff you like. 6/21/2011 9:31:36 PM |

GAH I wanna order all 4 dresses
sad thing is I want it NOW and I know that site takes years to ship
it would make me uber sad
I could wear 1 and 4 to work. 6/22/2011 1:14:22 PM |
khcadwal All American 35165 Posts user info edit post |
i got the strapless one like the gray one you like except in the fucshia color.
ORDER THEM! a lot of times when i order and it says it takes years to ship it comes way faster than it says. i know how you feel though i want it now too. but that is like what, 3 weeks at the absolute longest. i bet they come sooner. last few times i've ordered and it has had a future ship date i've gotten it in like a week.
of course i say that now and watch it be like 5 weeks this time
since i got the dress and it is free shipping all day i also got this watch for $19. not worth it on its own (with shipping costs) but since i was already paying shipping and i wanted a watch similar to this style for awhile and it is cheap is shit, i figured what the hay.

I'm excited!!
Tonight my friend and I are going to the Oxford for dinner (1/2 price appetizers for ladies and $5 martinis).
And then we're heading to this wine and design thing. Has anyone ever done this?
We're doing Pet Night:

You also bring some wine and drink the wine while you paint... so paint by numbers for adults. 6/22/2011 2:32:46 PM |

I took the Snips 'N Sips or whatever it was (a flower making class) and in the middle of it he blurted out how he was a former alcoholic but is now taking Lexapro. His exact phrase I believe was, "But now I'm on Lexapro and I'm just-a floatin through life!" 6/22/2011 2:41:23 PM |

Yeah - this one was actually $45 I guess because they have to sketch your pet for you. So it's $10 more than the usual. But I'm a sucker so I am excited. 6/22/2011 2:45:16 PM |
