my other fav style right now besides maxi dresses =

dark skinny jeans + white t shirt (basic sometimes i substitute black or another color, but my fav is white) + neon flat sandals + simple gold filigree earrings

maybe a funky bracelet if i'm going to dinner or something.

this is like all i wear. maxi dresses or jeans with basic t shirts. lol.

I do the opposite....I'm in lurve with my black skinny pants from GAP (on my 3rd pair)

with a neon flowy top/or black/or white

and metallic sandals or something

^ i also like that style a lot too!

i got these neon sandals (like metallic sandals, but neon coral color) at old navy. and i really like them. they look awesome with dark denim and a white top

if i do black i usually wear my gold flat sandals

but i LOVE neon flowy tops also. i'm way into neon right now i don't know why

the other day i wore a neon green racerback tank top as a cover up to the pool and eric was like "um what is that shirt? is that from a 1990s skateboarding video" haha.

Ladies, I'm looking for something that is sticker like that you can put in your shoes to make them more comfortable. I think I've seen this type of product before, but I don't know where. It's like a sticky tape on one side, and the other side is this smooth, suede-like fabric. So you can cut it to size and put it in your shoes where they rub you the wrong way. Do you have any idea where I can find something like this? Any help is appreciated, thanks!

yeah man...go to Target..they have some "foot petals" type things that are easy to customize if you need it.

they're also cheaper than the actual "foot petals"

[Edited on June 22, 2011 at 9:41 PM. Reason : ^yeah a version of those]

Love it, if you can style it. I got a similar cut and I can't style it, so it doesn't look nearly that good, all these pieces flipping out and some flipping in.

oooooo Dress #2!!!

So I have a question: Back in April I got highlights. I really like the blonde color and but I still think over all my hair is still too brown (natural light brown). I want it all blonde. Should I ask for a single process instead of highlights? I'm too scared to go with box color.

Your stylist will be able to mix a color for you that has a few different shades, so that it looks natural. She'll likely leave a few strands of the darker color to blend in, lots of blond, and maybe another color highlight. But I would definitely go to a stylist if you're going lighter in color. But yes, just tell her you want all over color, and she may tell you to add highlights as well.

didn't someone in this thread purchase a waver iron? i thought i remembered reading that awhile back.

well anyways, i kinda want one. i know it is more like a crimper than a waver but does anyone have one? thoughts? do you use it a lot?

i just watched a tutorial about using a flat iron to create waves

the tutorial seems easy enough but actually doing it on yourself is hard. if i was doing it one someone else's hair it'd be easy.

here is my first attempt at curling my hair using my flat iron (or making waves, really)

it is hard

i didn't use any hairspray or product but i'm assuming that would help and make it stay better.

it is pulled back 1/2 way in a clip otherwise it just looks like a funky hot mess

i will keep experimenting. would a waver or curling iron make this look easier?!?!?!?!

HELP MEEEE. i am bad at being a girl slash didn't even know i could curl my hair until today. but my hair is dirty and i actually got some pretty tight ringlets and then brushed them out to make it wavy. but it takes forev cause i ahve fine hair so i have to do very small tiny strips at a time

Katherine, I recently bought one of those curling wands. It's like a curling iron without the clamp and it works well to do different kinds of curls and waves. I got it at Target.

It's like these stickers that come in small (2 by 2 inch?) sheets. You cut them to size and then stick them in your shoe.

I think they might have been moleskin, but I'm not sure.

I want to wear my combat boots tonight to happy hour

Thoughts on what to pair them with to make it more feminine and not super hero?

Here's what they look like:

those wands scare me - I'd be so afraid of burning myself... not that I curl my hair enough to warrant one, but it's skurrrrrry!

how do you like it? any mishaps?

they're not really knee high, more like mid calf I guess

and as far as heat goes, my legs being hot really doesn't bother me that much - I feel warmer up top

[Edited on June 24, 2011 at 1:36 PM. Reason : I might be able to loosen them up - they're mostly snaps with different levels]

Ok sorry need some input. as already posted this is my bedroom. I will most likely will paint it a light grey over time.

as you can see in the pic. there is a zebra rug, my zebra blanket and the small zebra pic over my bed.

That zebra pic is too small.

So I wanted to get a bigger pic and originally thought ok zebra one.

But then I really like these two, but don't want to throw off the room style.

Maybe I need to create an Interior design thread.

I really like that look. It makes me so happy when famous people dress how I would dress, even if it does not look good. It lets me know that I am not the only lame one.
