I was waiting for something scary to pop up in the film strip. It reminded me of "The Ring" or something like that. 10/5/2005 11:15:40 PM |

i really didnt think Jack was going to push the button
but there was Locke once again tempting Jack toward the brink, the edge. he's always tempting people.
i think Jack really wanted to prove a point but at the same time, he was scared of the consequences if he didn't push the button 10/5/2005 11:15:56 PM |

but i feel like Locke is having deja vu.....like he's been on the island before so he knows what's going on. he knows what's real and what's not. he knows where things are and how to really push people/tempt people into doing things10/5/2005 11:19:13 PM |

You can be a man of reason but when you're under pressure and you got yerself a cot damn jesus-healed cripple shouting at you to push the button, sometimes you push the freaking button.
Not to mention the fact that he had in the past 24 hours had a run in with a fucking smoke monster. 10/5/2005 11:20:27 PM |

the only thing desmond knows about this setup is what the tape told him and clearly the tape said not to use the computer for anything else no surfing for porn, and no entering 32 instead of 4210/5/2005 11:30:01 PM |

Can somebody fill me in on when Helen was mentioned last season?
I remember Locke talking about her, but maybe not to her.
One more thing. Depending on how big the magnetic field is (we don't really know at this point), if it's large enough wouldn't it interfere with all that electronic equipment down there?

The Helen that Locke talked to last season was not the Helen from tonights episode. That Helen wanted to charge Locke if they talked any longer, so something definitely happened between those two. 10/5/2005 11:39:22 PM |

At least we know now that the polar bears are part of the experiment. Maybe the same goes for the sharks -- at another one of the 6 stations.
I wonder if the swan has any significance?
