Yeah I prefer the RB guitar as well. Especially like the ridge that sticks out after the orange button so I know where my fingers are all the time. They get lost on my GH guitars (I don't own an RB guitar, sniff sniff).

this is the new trend in killing the used game market

They are starting to release games without the full usability in them, and require a code to be put in for some of the extra features that they are claiming is "standard"

I think with NBA and the "DNA" mode, for it to actually track online stats with current players, you have to enter a one-use code in the manual. You buy it uses, no stat tracking.

You can do that. I did it just this past week with a friend's copy of the game. He'd already transferred the RB1 songs to his hard drive, so there doesn't appear to be any kind of restriction.

i read back a couple of pages and didn't see it, but...

does anybody have the new drums (not the premium ones)? if so, have you had the problem where you hit near the edge of the blue on and it shows up as hitting the yellow on screen? is this a common problem?

i don't have them yet, but want them for xmas, and have seen youtube videos of this problem.

when does the rb2 drum kit (drums only, not the bundle) for ps3 come out?

I want Rock Band 2 for my birthday! Anybody wanna buy it for me, so my reserved ass can sing along like nobody's watching? I know you want to!

Sounds like this game will be even better than Rock Band 1...I like being able to advance the band and unlock new songs without all of the band members having to be there all the time.
