yeah, but that means it didn't travel far, which means lower costs, lower air pollution, etc. It's more economical.

Again, it's the same as any other Coke product. It's also being put into plastic bottles which isn't very economic, since if you were to use a water filter at home you'd be getting both a superior product AND much less plastic waste.

Water from your tap is much, much more economical.

Let's look at prices:
How much is bottled water out of a vending machine, $1.25 for 20oz? Assuming this, one gallon of Aquafina is $8.
At $0.007/gallon for tap water (in my area at least) that $1.25 will buy me 178.6 gallons of water.

20oz of tap water that someone bottled from the same water supply and sold for crazy profit, or enough water to do 3 full loads of laundry, or almost 12 loads in the dishwasher, or several showers, or....

Why anyone buys bottled water is beyond me.

Taking the peelies to buy other products doesn't bother me so much but taking them off and hoarding them or taking them all...well, that's tacky IMO.

There is always another deal to be had though so it all works out.

I didn't take all the peelies I took 4 for my cereal. I left like 15 on the rest of the grab and goes. I know I can just get them off the Kellogg man when he comes around like I stated earlier which is what I am planning on doing. I found out he comes 2nd & 4th Thursdays to my FL.

He has a roll. I used to get about 10-15 every 6 months. So I was going to ask when I caught him.

So guys want peelies come on out to Durham and there is still some to be had! There are also the Soy Joy bars at my CVS. Mine wasn't cleaned out.

i respect the fact that you are buddies with the kellogg guy and get peelies from him FAR more than you jacking them off products on the shelf

and taking 4 makes it sound better than "a whole bunch"

anyway

as far as bottled water. i have a case i bought for the hurricane and i just leave it in the pantry and use my brita filter and swiss bottle to drink it. its cheap, its convenient and it reduces waste. and since houston doesn't even recycle i feel extra shitty about creating extra trash that COULD have been recycled

I wasn't saying you did. I was commenting about people in general

I have not been able to find the throat cooler pops that were FAECB...Anyone seen those around?? I have a raincheck if not but I'd REALLY love to roll my ECB's that expire TODAY!

Not that anyone needs Glade scented oil warmers, but last night at my HT I found a "New Item" tag on the Glade scented oil warmers, and they were all priced at $1. I've bought so much Glade scented oil refills from CVS lately that I needed the warmers in order to use them. I was shocked when I saw they were only $1/ea (just the warmer, no refill). I bought 4 of them, but there were still at least 4 on the shelf. Right there in the Glade section where the rest of the warmers/refills are. In case anyone wants to check it out.

its a site that lists all of the coupons in the paper, as well as the sales at the stores. then breaks down final cost, whats free, what you should load up on, etc. but its a pay site.

i've never used the grocery game website.

i go to hotcouponworld.com occasionally because it's a forum it's easy to get questions answered in a hurry, plus hey post sales ads (with pictures) like, months before they actually come out.

hcw will give you scenarios and basically tell you what to do and where to go, and where you can find the coupons and it's completely free.

CouponMom.com does all this, and it's free to use.

I usually look there and Slickdeals for all my couponing needs.

Do 2/5.00 sales work the same as BOGO free sales at HT? In otherwords, does each item ring up individually at half price or do you have to buy two items to get the sale?

FL had bogo popcorn...

Check out has a great superbowl party coupon book. In there is a coupon for a free any 2-L with the purchase of 2 popcorn. So buy one popcorn and get a popcorn and 2L soda free

Also, I would pick up the coupon book. All the coupons in the book will triple at Harris Teeter next week.

Is it the same ones you guys are getting?

The cereal was at CVS.. I'm sorry! Those are some pretty good coupons though so if you can get them to print, hold on to them.

This week at WAGS there are a lot of ESR free after rebate offers. I got the concealer pen, cherry tart lip gloss, some cold meds, and therma care wraps. Spent about 30.00 and then came home and entered my receipt online to be loaded onto a gift card. I did not realize how easy the easy saver rebate program is Heard that they were ending it though I hope not!

Here is a sneak peek at the Sales Ad for this week. You could (maybe?) try to make some coupon match-ups from that.

Also, a nice local lady on Slickdeals emailed me her coupon match-ups from the Grocery Game website, which seems to be updated with the Triple Coupons this weekend. I could post the list here? Scratch that, she emailed me a list of coupon match-ups but boy is it confusing to read. I have no idea what kinda stuff is going on in that email. (But I'll email it to you if you want it!)

Has anybody found the 10ct vial of Excedrin that is free after ECBs at CVS? I looked in the pain reliever aisle, nothing not even a space on the shelf for it. I looked in the trial size section, nothing. Anybody had luck finding it?
