BC is playing Duke really close. They mentioned on Gameday whether Duke would have a let down against BC or not. They all said no though. The thing is can BC keep it up. They already have 4 players with 2 fouls, and we know how the refs in Cameron like to save the Dookies.

I would think as a State fan we'd be pulling for Duke in this game with respect to the standings. No way in fuck are we going to catch Duke, but BC is at 3-5 and we want them to stay down. If they (BC) wins and we lose tonight we both have the 4-5 ACC record.

I do have respect for Al Skinner going out and finding hidden gems and making them compete. It may not be enough to get them to the elite level, but they are a pretty consistent program that has regularly made the NCAAs with him. I mean they are usually lucky to bring in one guy ranked in the top 150 each year.

ND wins their 34th straight home game a new school record. The last time they lost at home was two years ago versus Marquette. That was a crappy last second play. You've got to rush it down the court to give yourself enough time to get either a wide open shot or a quick 3 plus a rebound and kick out for a second one with like .3 remaining should you miss.

^^^^ Haas Pavilion is one of the most underrated venues in college basketball. "The Bench" their student section on the sideline while small are pretty organize from what I've seen. The Bench, is filled with 900 students that sit courtside so close to the action that they could pull on the opposing players hair on their legs. John Wooden talked about how his players would have the hairs in their legs pulled out when in-bounding the ball at Cal, and that was instrumental in why he asked for their to be more clearance between the court and the stands when they were building Pauley Pavilion. New courtside seats though have ended their hair pulling days.
