But seriously, that excuse is used by a lot of our fans. I had never bothered to check to see if it was true or not, and it pretty clearly isn't. The conspiracy theorists will throw out claims that our school was hit hard by the draft while the state legislature blocked the army from getting into UNC.

Because you are expecting other people to take your opinion seriously, and yet are obviously ill-informed.

I doubt you've watched many games, ESPN's college football analysis is pathetic and your friends are clearly idiots. Leave the football discussion to people who are at least mildly informed on the subject.

our WRs right now have the best active career yardage and TDs in the ACC. I would assume it's Williams with the active TD lead and Spencer with the yards

Wait so to be informed about football you have to read all the local interviews?

And a person who watches all the games is not allowed to ask questions about the interviews on a message board?

How come no one ever mentions Nate Irving when talking about players returning from injury? He's on par with Herzlich in terms of importance to their respective teams.

he's probably more important, since our D was so shitty last year and BC has some other good LBs.

but i'm not gonna argue with them highlighting a real good player who beat cancer..

What I mean is that they showed three other players returning from injury after talking about Herzlich. Why couldn't mention Nate, who wasn't injured by football but by a horrific car crash.

Herzlich was ACC POY and is returning from cancer. He's a national story, no one outside the ACC knows who Nate Irving is.

And they also mentioned Robert Griffin from Baylor. They are a bottom Big 12 team. I know Griffin is a QB and that changes things a little, but still how many people that are just casual college football fans know who he is?

Yeah, we need to bring more attention to a guy who fell asleep at the wheel and wrapped his car around a tree

That'll take us to the top

Didn't know where to put this,

but Cincy's WR Hazleton tore his ACL and is out for the season. a win for our secondary?

umm...if you told me it could be garunteed that Glennon would be healthy for that entire game, but it would mean we would have to play Cincy w/ Hazelton...

I would say let Glennon sit that one out.

Its not celebrating an injury, its having higher hopes for that game BECAUSE of the injury

and that means we risk having imhoff in the game when wilson gets banged up (which he almost certainly will vs high level competition 5 days apart)
