I thought Sid made a great move to switch Javi to the 2guard. Not only did he give us a big lift tonight, but Lorenzo looked great running the point.

Perhaps, thats Lorenzo's problem he's more comfortable running the point than being off the ball. Anyway, it gave us another combination of lineups we can use when Harrow's struggling like that.

CJ Leslie was a total disaster tonight, this is exactly what I feared he was going to be this season. Just very low basketball IQ. I loved when Lowe yanked him from the game immediately for getting beat down court when he first checked in. I have no idea why he didn't yank him in the 2nd half when he was tanking us on both ends.

We got unlucky that Tanner Smith is hurt, he's terrible and it allowed Narcisse who is pretty awesome to play a lot of minutes. Clemson has a pretty good squad, Grant is awesome. They went into Chapel Hill last week and outplayed UNC but unfortunately got robbed of the win by the refs.

Tracy just hasn't gotten it all together this season. He played better tonight but he's still not close to as effective as he was last season, so frustrating. At this point I just don't think he can do all the things he is used to being able to do and its affecting his confidence.

Scott Wood is playing too many minutes, period. I know we love having him the floor for spacing and I understand that. But this guy has been a flat out terrible shooter late in games since he's been here. I don't think it's a coincidence he goes cold with about 10 minutes left every single game. He gives a lot of effort on defense and he's a great shooter but he can't rebound and he really gives us nothing else offensively other than spacing/shooting. We need to transition some of those minutes to CJW or Leslie when we try to go big.

Awful game for Howell. He just didn't have it tonight and he loafed getting back on defense as usual. Just a tough game for him, he needs to snap that immediately.

Good sign that Javi looked like a contributor for once this season, lets hope we keep getting that effort.

Harrow tough game, just couldn't get it going. Good sign that he hit one three though, just please don't shoot anymore for the rest of the year.


Good job by Sid, we almost stole that one we just missed too many easy shots and Narcisse was a difference maker out there tonight.

My vote is to Fire Sidney Lowe. It's obvious who the leader of the '83 team was. Jimmy V. Lowe is too passive and has NO control over his team. Our man to man defense sucks why not go to a zone vs a poor shooting Clemson?? I'm just saying. Archie Miller could do a better job.

^^beat me to it. And I agree with the T-dub thing, but our fans in real life are like this too...and I hate them. Had to move at the last basketball game I was at (wake) because I had 2 retards on opposite sides...one was yelling at Harrow to stop playing shooting guard for missing his first 2 shots (we scored on the 2nd one anyway) after he had just gone like 17 of his last 21 from the field in the previous games. The other dumbshit was yelling at Wood for standing around when we were clearly using him to keep a defender out of the lane. I was fucking surrounded with loud mouths who knew nothing about basketball.

Well overall it wasn't a great job by Lowe. I guess I meant getting good play out of Lo/Javi and I liked that experiment with the lineup.

He's obviously promised Leslie a lot of playing time to get him to commit and he's worried about losing the WOG pipeline or somethign by not holding up his end of the bargain. Leslie clearly was a hindrance to our chances of winning tonight but he kept him out there in crunch time.

I will agree that we give zero effort of getting back defensively. Leslie and Howell are the two biggest offenders. They constantly loaf back and we give up open perimeter shots, layups, and commit fouls while the rest of our players have to scramble. That's ridiculously frustrating and needs to be addressed immediately.

Other than that issue saying we lack effort isn't all that accurate.

Funny how many top ten recruiting classes does he have? Harris does'nt recruit well. NC STATE recruits itself. Having lots of playing time available and playing in the ACC isn't a hard sell. FYI; Shoe contracts have alot to do with recruiting in college basketball. My point to firing Harris is we need to clean house.

Not sure if Harris is a great recruiter or if teh RBC center is the great recruiter.

Have we ever had one without the other? (Honestly no idea when Harris joined the staff)

Harris is our best recruiter, but I wonder if he's as good as...say...Clemson's top recruiter (Who might not get as much talent, but also doesn't have the facilities to promote)

We've had maybe two top ten recruiting classes under Harris. We have had one sweet six teen team. Harris also should get the blame for Brandon Costner and Scooter Sherrill. Even though they were McDonalds All-American's it would be obvious that they weren't program changing players. Basically, we get the top Addidas guys that no other Addidas school wants. Thats how it works. It is that simple.
