the town i live in is voting to finally legalize selling alcohol.. final vote is in 5 days.

there's like 15 stories, all with the same first paragraph about when it was rejected before and blah blah blah. the side that is FOR alcohol has put up illegal signs all over the city..they found a loophole that basically says they have 30 days to take the signs down, so they waited until 29 days before the vote to put them up. fucking hypocrites. they're citing all these studies for how much revenue alcohol brings vs the problems it cause..they don't realize that right now we still have all the problems (since ppl can get alcohol in the next city over) but not a god damn bit of the tax revenue.

it's pretty annoying to go out to eat and not even be able to order a beer
