man, whoever mentioned that ELF Target make up line is the shiz. I have only looked at it once, and that's when just a few of the items were on an end-cap.

EVERYTHING is $1 or $3. Don't care if it's not quality makeup. Nice to have variety. And little tools and brushes. Got a lip gloss, lip stain, makeup brush, oil sheets, the zit zapper that said person was talking about, and some eyeshadow.

don't get me wrong...I have all sorts of brands, but I tend to splurge on eye shadow and blush

I wear all Bobbi Brown...but I have Chanel shadows (THAT I LOVE) and Benefit, and Estee Lauder, and M.A.C. when I'm feelin froggy. Having friends in the cosmetics world helps, but I still pay too

I've found that they mill their pigments a lot better, and they just sweep over my lids like a fairy lol

the AWESOME news is i have a $25 credit (obviously was not charged for the dress, but got $25 as an apology gift). so that is neat. but i really wanted the dress it was a strapless maxi that was SO cute.

oh well

since i can almost always find stuff i like, i'm happy to have the $25 credit. that is like, a free dress if i shop well!

this weekend there were like AMAZING ideeli sales. dresses and shirts for like $9. all my sizes got gone fast though. i did get a $13 pair of shoes though.

Where is that cute serving tray I saw last year? Searching through tags like “at home” and “entertaining” and “dishes” will help me find it. OK, still with me? Let’s break it down even more. Sometimes I put similar items in one note. My Christmas notebook could have one note that is a bunch of pictures and links to Christmas recipes. But I probably won’t do that because I know that I’m going to have a ton of Christmas recipes and it would be too messy to have it all in one notebook. If that’s the case, I have two options: Option A: I can create a new Christmas Recipes notebook and make each recipe an individual note. Option B. I could create individual notes in the Christmas notebook and add tags like “recipe,” “cookies,” “Christmas cookies,” “recipesthatgetyouwifed,” or “I get fat just looking at this but OMG!” Then come December, I can just go to those tags to easily find all the recipes I’ve been saving. The best part? It’s all stored in the cloud, so no matter where I add a note, it’s automatically there on my other devices! So I’m no longer left searching for something I read on my college laptop a year ago when I’m on the go. Even if you’re not a multiple device person — even if you only use one computer and still have an AOL e-mail address (hello, Mom!) — it’s still worth it to have one place where you save things. It’s way more organized than any bookmarking system can be, and when you eventually get a new computer/switch from AOL to Firefox/lose your phone/get an iPad, you won’t lose all your stuff. You can also share notes with people via e-mail and social media. So if you’ve got a sweet “recipesthatgetyouwifed” notebook, you can just click a button to share it with your friends, and you have the option to let them add to it too. Yay collaboration! "

Iheartkisses...I mentioned Evernote a few pages back when bmel got onto me for not using pinterest. I use Evernote for errthang...fave sites, tasks, notes at meetings. I have it on my browser at work so I can remember stuff for later. It saves to my account and I have it when I get home. Its pretty great!

not to be a hater but i just wanna say that i mentioned pinterest like MONTHS ago (over 6 i think) and now it's the hot shit. i even mentioned it in here! and everyone was confused. my bad but that shit is addictive and im glad people are finally on board (lol get it?) with it so i have more people to follow!

and evernote, i have been wanting to get into it for awhile but i think there is a paid and a free version and i'm not sure of the difference and haven't really looked into it and thus never made a decision. can someone comment on that please?

Anyone ever used shaving soap? I was at a place in Apex today that has handmade shaving soap, and the guy was telling me how it lasts a really long time (he said a bar the size of a hockey puck will last a guy up to 2 years, which I'm sure is a little overkill, but you get the idea). I like supporting local people, and also the idea of not having to buy new shaving cream every few weeks. I think I might try it out.
