That being said, you comic book people need to realize that they aren't going to stick to the comic books when making the movie. I mean, when has Hollywood done ANYTHING strictly according to source docs? Be it comic adaptations, book adaptations, or historical flicks, they do what they think will make them the most money, and that means they'll placate the most marketable demographic, which ISN'T COMIC BOOK FANS solely. I mean do you think the average 15 year old could wrap his public-school educated mind around a character like the Phoenix?

Face it, what makes money these days is Sex, Lots of action scenes, and special effects/CGI. Not drama, character development, or plot substance. Sad but true.

(That being said, I wish Xmen 3 was rated R so Femke could FDT)

It's going to have it all: motorcycle stunts, chase scenes literally from Hell, Nic Cage, flaming skulls, dudes in leather, the whole ball of wax.
