NBC I believe is going to be reshowing all the episodes. They said its going to start back up again January 1st, so I would assume they are going to show 3 episodes a night for three nights before the show starts again.

I don't think mr. bennett's superior is Linderman. Why would a criminal mobster who uses thugs to carry out daily business decide to start an organization that seeks genetically evolved individuals in the hopes of combining their talents to detain villainous individuals? We don't know the full agenda of Mr. Bennett's organization, but the style of tagging heroes, or forming teams to work together for non-evil ends is a bit too sophisticated to be led by a wealthy mobster.

Why would Mr. Bennett and Haitian have to break through Linderman's security to detain Nathan Petrelli and Niki/Jessica? Linderman could have just rolled out a red carpet if he was interested in having Mr. Bennett confront them. Also, Nathan's car was bumped on the road by Linderman's thugs, leading to his wife's paralyzation - we don't see Mr. Bennett doing anything remotely like this. We know Linderman had some underhanded dealings with the Petrelli's father... All the mob stuff seems too petty to be part of the same organization as Mr. Bennett.

WHat actual bad guys do we have so far besides Sylar? I don't think I like Nathan but I'm not 100% convinced he's bad. There must be more...

if you recall that episode, Mr Bennett said "only the one" and was referring to Nathan. they were detaining Nathan...not Niki/Jessica. Why would they do that? Because she was already working for Linderman. Her having sex with Nathan and keeping him occupied was rolling out the red carpet for Mr. Bennett.

If Haitian dude got Petrelli and fixed his memory he could either insure that Nathan got, or didn't get, into office--whatever Linderman wanted. OR to make sure that Nathan never attempted to expose his mob organization again by wiping his memory.

yeah i agree with you...I think he didn't zap her memory b/c he didn't want to--rejecting orders so that she'll know what sylar can do, or just because he was sick of zapping memories or whatever. it was personal obviously with the big speech he made about zapping her brother and mother's memories many many times--he seemed upset about it.

yes this is true: he was only interested in Nathan. Also, Niki has the DNA-"s" symbol on her shoulder - they may have tagged her or already be aware of her abilities. but even if they didn't know, there's nothing to indicate her purpose was other than to blackmail Nathan. Dialogue after the incident between Nathan and the Asian woman about the quality of hotel security indicated she was genuinely upset about the instrusion. the continued story emphasis on the tape in their conversation confirms to me that Linderman's interest was only in blackmail.

Once Mr. bennett had captured Nathan, why was only he and the Haitian involved? If they were in Linderman's own hotel, you'd think there would be some added assistance, thugs, etc - Linderman certainly didn't hold back when going after Niki.

The Haitian can't do mind control and he has to be present in order to do mind wiping. At the point they captured Nathan, there's nothing useful they could make Nathan forget. Besides, if Linderman can mess with Nathan's mind via Haitian, then the blackmail is not really necessary.

With the amount of evidence shown, it's hard to completely prove or disprove that Linderman is Mr. Bennet's boss, but given the above and that the styles of the two entities (linderman and bennet) are so different, i'm convinced they are completely separate.

I'm guessing Mr. Bennet either works for the government or some trillionaire scientist/entrepreneur type, i.e., Richard Branson-like. I think Linderman is just set up to be the cliche kingpin mob boss villain.

actually, maybe the haitian can only block mental powers like telepathy or telekinesis in addition to memory wipes. it seems like parkman, eden, and possibly sylar (while in containment) are the only ones who've been affected by him

I'm betting that the Haitian can control his ability. It makes sense that he would use it out of caution when talking shop with Mr. Bennett, but he might not necessarily be using it all the time. Which would be scary if Sylar ever caught him offguard. The Haitian could own Sylar, assuming Sylar didn't throw a car at him first. the show would be over though if Sylar got the haitian's ability.

So I've been able to create DVD's of the first half of the season. I've put the first eleven episodes on three DVDs. They look pretty damn good on my standard definition TV. LOL it took me a while to dig up some software to convert XViD to DVD, and I did it so I could watch them on a television, and not have to watch them on my computer. I also didn't do it to make a profit. Thanks though ncsu919.

i have HD files of the episodes and want to convert them to DVD format. i have a couple encoders but everything i've found looks like it takes close to 3-4 hours per xvid file (~700mb). is that normal, or is there a faster tool i can use that gives good quality? (i have an HD tv, so the higher the quality the better, assuming i don't end up w/one dvd per episode.)

I used ConvertXtoDVD to make DVD's from 700 gig XVID files, and I think they were from an HD source. I made standard DVDs. (apparently 25 frames per second?) It took about three hours to convert each DVD which has four episodes each except the first disc which has episodes 1, 2, & 3. I burned the files with CloneDVD 2 once it made the DVD's on my hard drive.
