^^ I can relate to that. We're at about the same stage in planning!

You haven't asked permission to get married on my day yet! I called May 22nd you know

Seriously, everyone and their brother is getting married in about a 6 week time frame after graduation!

does this usually happen or could it be the economy? two paychecks, one roof, etc.

itt nrr asks questions instead of answering them

the timing is logical because after graduation they can plan it without worrying about school.

but really that is when all the loans start needing to get repaid or they start getting interest added and jobs need to be found.

the having time to plan it doesn't make sense because me and sprocket are both getting married on May 22nd, which is only a week after graduation

^ i guess timing would be just a good cut off / definite date.

but i have no fucking clue. you should know the answer.

Well I guess we chose that weekend cuz it was the first one after no more school worries (at least 'til grad school for me). Makes sense!

it's a pain trying to plan a wedding while you're in school

that's why she's doing all of the planning

haha yes it is a pain. And yes, she is doing most of it. I'm glad she knows what she wants to happen as far as the decorating stuff. Now I understand why some people elope! :p

I didn't seriously consider it, even though we talked about it. I don't mind the wedding thing that much though cuz she's such a frugal person. Ours is going to come out under $3000 for the whole thing, including the honeymoon, her ring, and the bands. I'm satisfied with that!

our wedding will be cheap by today's standards, but it's still not as cheap as i would like it to be

as long as she keeps it within reason, she can do whatever makes her happy, though

^^idk what the one i use is called. i'mma google some more and see if i can find it. i'll make a video if i can't find one.

^only place i fish up here is lake raleigh on centennial with the canoe. i'm sure it's not the best, but it's convenient for me and free.

[Edited on February 9, 2010 at 7:59 PM. Reason : i know it's not the blood knot or uni knot]

mine probably isn't that great, but it's what i've found to work best with the light lines i use. you gotta remember that most of the time i'm tying 8 lb test flurocarbon to 8 lb test power pro

however, i've used the same knot to tie 80 lb mono to 30 lb mono for king fishing on the pier and it's gotten multiple 10'+ sharks to the pier, so whatever.

ok, i found it. it's called a san diego knot or reverse clinch knot. to join two lines, i tie two of them facing each other and cinch them against each other, if that makes sense.

i tie a lot of palomars, too. i use mirr-o-lure knots when i want the bait to have some more action.

i hate surgery shows.

I use a double uni-knot, and it's landed many a tarpon and even a few tiger sharks.

Kayaking is fun on its own, and even more fun when fishing. I kayak-fish in saltwater all the time, and really enjoy being able to get in water so skinny that I can pat reds on the back

do you think people who have a problem with male figure skating have problems with nontraditional gender roles?

do you think a male figure skater could probably kick a your average 35 year old sedentary male's ass?

sorta, but i don't really know how to describe it. i guess it's just because i have to discuss all these future plans with her and think about things in terms of us instead of me. that doesn't really describe it, but idk what else to say.

NRR, my post count is 0.3 per day, is this some kind of milestone all must pass? How could it have happened w/o me noticing? I'm devastated....

On another note, I just took my last sleeping pill....Now I require an excursion to WalMart to restock!
