They did not look very good but they did not get any incorrect decisions go their way

the first wasnt a yellow. gerrard and torres both had yellow offenses that went uncarded in the first half (gerrard with 2 wild ass tackles, the 2nd he was talked to by the ref). then immediately starting the 2nd half he goes in with another wild ass tackle and gets talked to again without a yellow. rooney wouldve been red carded 3 times with those kind of tackles. torres mouthed off to the ref twice with the 2nd time you could clearly read his lips saying "you need fucking glasses" while puting rings around his eyes to portray glasses...

they were never going to score that game until they were gifted a red card...and even then the ref nearly fucked that up by giving the yellow to the wrong guy initially(clearly showing he had no idea what happened)

sometimes its hard to watch these shows on FSC after the games. im watching super sunday plus and they were praising giggs and rooney this game. rooney yes, giggs no. giggs didnt really do anything this game. they also blamed rafael for the pk...no word or even highlight on rooney's outrageous backpass that caused that in the first place

Man, i dunno about man utd signing hatem ben arfa. He's ok, i guess he's got potential, but I saw him play a lot last year, and even in person once (lille vs marseille) i wasn't too impressed with him. He's a lot of tricks, but I don't know how well his game will fit in man utds team. In my opinion, his upside is about Samir Nasri level. He isn't even a regular starter for Marseille, and hasn't been for the past couple of years. I think they could do a lot better than Ben Arfa. I can think of about 20 attacking players in ligue 1 i'd rather have than him.
