I swear I saw "The Fighter" on Instant Watch the other day. I've already seen in it the theaters, but was surprised to see it on instant watch so soon.

I have Camelot and Mad Men on my Queue, but I think the lady and I have to get through the first season of Treme (by getting Netflix through the mail....fucking HBO) before we start something else. I hate waiting...

We just finished 6 seasons of The Office. Eastbound and Down isn't on Instant Watch.

Any recommendations for good comedy series on Instant Watch?

Don't know if many of you care but anyone else really pissed that Netflix still hasn't worked out the music royalties for the Wonder Years yet? They promised on April 1st, and I guess I should have taken into account the day it was written. I want some Winnie Cooper dammit.

Joe and I were both in tears over this one. We made the mistake of watching it late at night before bed... Before either of us could even think about sleeping we had to watch some Arrested Development and a few episodes of Frasier to clear our minds.

This afternoon we watched I Love You Phillip Morris with Jim Carey. Pretty good movie. Joe's watching 8-Mile now.

Forest Warrior (1996)

It's a kids movie, but it starts with Chuck Norris kicking a bunch of dudes asses, getting shot and killed, being brought back to life by a bear and then being able to shapeshift into eagles, wolves and bears

I watched Hobo w/shotgun and thought it amusing. I would guess that if I had a few beers in me with some of my friends that movie would be epic. If you like a good blood and guts/ cheesy movie go for it. The acting is horrible, but in a good campy way.

I'm normally a fan of sorkin, so I went into it with high hopes, but I watched the first couple episodes and could not get over the laugh track. It just totally ruins the dry humor that he writes with IMO. I may come back to it at some point, though, only because I like Sorkin.

Just watched Run the Sahara. Pretty decent documentary.

The Nines with Ryan Reynolds was an awesome movie. I've never heard of it before and it must've been an independent film, but it is refreshing to watch after seeing all the clones continually playing in theaters. If you like mind bending, suspenseful and thought provoking films you will love it too. It's actually a collection of three different stories that all tie together in the end. It will make you question reality....check it out!

This girl has amazing boobs and she's only 15.

You get to see them in all their glory for like half a second but it's worth it.

Edit: I'll save you the trouble.

For a moment, I thought you were talking about the cute coming-of-age tale with the adult film actress.

So I Googled, and that was a mistake...it was based on a true story, too!

And this right on the heels of hearing details of the crimes committed by that pediatrician in Delaware.

WORST INTERNETING EVER

I watched Blitz today which was a pretty standard Jason Statham flick. Worth watching if it that's your thing. Just watched The Nine's thought it was a pretty schizophrenic movie, not really that good either. Saw 36th precinct a few nights ago and enjoyed that

The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia

Great documentary.

On a side note.. It's also a great testament to West Virginia's and the US Federal Government's entitlement programs.

Quote :
"Netflix's negotiations to keep a key piece of its Internet video library have collapsed, dealing a major blow to the largest U.S. video subscription service as it raises the prices for most of its 25 million customers. The setback triggered a 9 percent drop in Netflix Inc.'s stock price late Thursday.

Starz Entertainment delivered the bad news in a terse statement announcing that it won't renew a contract that allows Netflix to show a lineup of recently released movies and TV shows over high-speed Internet connections. The content from Starz' cable TV channel played an instrumental role in increasing usage of Netflix's streaming service and contributed to Netflix's ability to add nearly 17 million subscribers since the deal was signed in October 2008.

That means Starz content will be removed from Netflix's service starting in March. Starz' library includes movies from Walt Disney Co.'s assorted studios and, until recently, Sony Corp.
Netflix had been expected to work out a new contract with Starz, although at a much higher price than the estimated $30 million a year that it had been paying under the current contract. Netflix CEO Reed Hastings acknowledged earlier this year that he wouldn't be surprised if the company paid as much as $250 million a year to retain the Starz rights when the current contract expires in February.

But those hopes were dashed, if not blown up completely, with the Thursday bombshell dropped by Starz CEO Chris Albrecht. He said Starz had decided to pull out of Netflix deal at the end of February "to protect the premium nature of our brand by preserving the appropriate pricing and packaging of our exclusive and highly valuable content." He also indicated that Starz, part of Liberty Media Corp., believes it could get more money for its content through other outlets."
