you can also get the beeps for starting a lock-on if you aim in the vicinity of the chopper...can be helpful if its just below your view under the top of a building...you can sometimes get a lock on it by aiming over the building without the threat of it shooting you

After you lock on, you have to stay locked on for a few extra seconds before you fire your rocket.

It's like it detects that you locked initially on and tries to fire flares and move real quick. If you wait like 3 seconds after lock on, you can take it out on the first shot.

i have to praise treyarch for the theatre mode. that must have been a lot of work to get that setup. it is cool to look at your friends best clips that they upload or see how a really good player approaches a match.

i just started playing around with it the past few days. i probably missed out on so many bad ass clips i could post up.

Anyone use the Crossbow much? I know I can be a crossbow whore at times, and I've noticed if you stick some the american soldiers they'll mutter "Oh Shit" before blowing up....makes me laugh every time

I heart the crossbow. It's my secondary on all my classes. It's especially useful in Domination games for defending a base that's far away. It's such a great feeling when you get the hit marker and hear the "thunk," and then think to yourself, "gotcha bitch!!" the whole while knowing that the dude you stuck is thinking, "OH SONOFABITCH!!"

me and a few other Warriors played last night against a team of four Level-1s...after we beat them by like 4000 on the first TDM, I went into game chat and they confirmed they had all bought the game like 20 minutes earlier...we only played them in one or two other matches, but it was nice to dominate them

For some reason I'm always a few frames behind my enemies in the multiplayer online. There's a thread on the main COD site about other people experiencing this. Not just your general 'every once in a while network shit happens' lag.(46 pages now.)

So I see dudes on Youtube and theater mode picking up a second primary weapon. And some dude on Youtube just suggested that you should pick up an AR if your primary is an SMG and vice versa, so that you can cover any situation. Am I missing something? How the hell do you carry two primaries?

I know in CoD4 there was a perk that let you carry to primary's but I can't remember what it was called...not that it helps you any in Black Ops...just FYI.

I went 36:1 the other day on WMD. Been playing very solid since I switched out the reflex for the red dot on the commando.

I got SIXTEEN kills on the chopper gunner. Was unreal.

I've found you really have to try both on every gun because alot of times reflex is better on X gun and red-dot is better on Y....just a little strange.

if you do this consitently it will step your game up considerably. it takes some time to discipline yourself to switch out and pick up a gun while you are on the move.

i have heard that the reflex sight reduces recoil but i am back to using good old iron sights and dual mag. kinda shows it in this vid

Apparently it is available as camo for 20k for every weapon after you are a big enough loser to get to level 14 prest.

Since I dont prestige, the asshats that I beat are always saying "Are you too pussy to prestige?" at which point I reply "How many prestiges did it take for you to suck that bad?"

apparently there is some glitch where you can level up in a custom game and then have someone in your party switch to private game when you are at your last prestige and you can get it that way. if you do an unlimited score/time custom game with dogs and a helicopter as 2 and 3 killstreaks you should get there in an afternoon pretty easily.
