my acc regular season predictions are currently as follows:

1. north carolina/duke
2. miami/duke
3.maryland/duke
4.nc state/duke
5. duke with no kelly
6. virginia

Basically the top 5 are all about the same level of mediocre and anyone could interchange. Everyone is critically flawed. No acc teams will be in the final four this year. I think the winner will have 5 or 6 losses and there will only be 2 games separating the 5th place team.

Maryland and North Carolina are the only two teams in the acc who are even good at rebounding. Everyone else is a POOR rebounding. Not only are they good at rebounding but they are the best 2 in the nation. Not only are the other teams poor at rebounding but they are ranked well under 100. North carolina had been shooting a poor fg% but the trend is that they have figured pace out and are back to playing as a good team.

Duke is not usually good at rebounding but they make up for it in every other area and still end up being a good but not great team. Without kelly they can't be efficient enough to make up for it. Nobody knows when he will be back so the higher dukes are with a healthy kelly back sooner than later.
