Not a good weekend for me. One team stinks, full of injuries, the other team keeps drawing everybody's A+ game. Both teams have the most points scored against in each respective league. Same shit, different year. 10/9/2012 9:12:33 AM |

Charles has more touches, yards, and touchdowns than McCoy at this point. Unless you are banking on Charles getting injures and wearing down, then you shouldn't make the trade. KC's QB(s) also suck...so as long as their defense can keep it close, then they will keep feeding Charlest the ball. Whether or not defenses focus on Charles, he still puts up big numbers. 10/9/2012 12:30:58 PM |

i completely disagree with everything ^ said except for current statistics and that KC QB's suck
by that same reasoning you should trade julio jones for brian hartline

Someone offered me Vick for AJ Green in my 16 team PPR league. His comment was that he needs a WR and I need a QB (my starter is Schaub, who has more points than Vick). 10/9/2012 12:36:49 PM |

Need advice on trade proposal.
My beloved QB RG3 bumped his noggin and may never return to form or sing alto in the church choir during the offseason quite the same way.
I like RG3 but between the concussion and his tough remaining schedule I think it might be time to sell high.
I noticed the Chiefs threw 18 passes last week on their 68 plays, and that cassell was injured and had three turnovers and under 100 yards. Also the entire stadium of home fans cheered when he was removed from the game.
My question is do you think Matt Cassel is the ULTIMATE buy low candidate, and should I use my #1 waiver priority to snag him before everyone else sees this opportunity? I would be cutting RG3 because I figure if a guy like cassel is just floating on waivers, then upper tier qbs really don't have much trade value in this league... 10/9/2012 1:30:20 PM |

^^I prefer Bradshaw
^Cassel is terrible. Theres a reason his own fans booed him. You can snag a much better QB at a low price. One that actually can get a decent set of points on a given sunday.
Ponder is open in my league, someone like that is a MUCH better buy. 10/9/2012 1:36:47 PM |

Cleveland held Ray Rice to 49 yards on 18 carries two weeks ago. Kansas City only gave up 187 through the air against Flacco and have been tough against the pass. I would say BJE against Cleveland.
Wide Receivers. Pick 3
W. Welker @ SEA M. Floyd v. DEN R. Wayne @ NYJ J. Jones @ HOU 10/10/2012 9:37:07 AM |

You can't sit Wayne at all right now. I'd go Wes, Floyd & Reggie.
I'm in trouble at WR with Smitty on bye & Jennings likely out. Pick 1 to go with Antonio Brown:
Manningham vs. NYG Hawkins @ Cle Josh Gordon vs. Cincy Donnie Avery @ NYJ Jeremy Kerley vs. IND Kenny Britt vs. PIT

I am thinking of rolling with 2 rb this week (charles and gore) and three wr (c. Johnson, a. Johnson, ???)
My choices for this flex spot are:
Adrian peterson Percy harvin Reggie wayne
I think I am gonna play wayne vs the jets. I have a hard time sitting andre johnson, because I know the game I do he will go off for three touchdowns and 200 yards. 10/10/2012 10:48:08 AM |

Wow I want your team, here are my rankings
Charles AP CJ Harvin Gore AJ Wayne
With coin flip on Wayne and AJ.
So I have Andre Brown and I'm thinking about dropping him for Alex Green (or Starks) or William Powell ( or LSH) or maybe try to stash Kendell Hunter. I'm just scared to do it because I know as soon as I drop Brown then Bradshaw will get hurt and I just dropped an RB1. Thoughts? 10/10/2012 11:38:56 AM |
justinh524 Sprots Talk Mod 27841 Posts user info edit post |
that's tough.
if it was me, i would probably stay away from any cardinals RB. alex green is probably the most intriguing player to me. hunter has limited value as long as gore is healthy. he is only going to get a meaningful amount of carries in blowouts like last week.
depending on your RB depth, i would probably just stay with Brown. it looks like he'll probably miss this week, but if he is cleared to play after that I think he's as good an option as any of the backs you mentioned. 10/10/2012 12:07:58 PM |

I might have an offer to give up Donald Brown and get Hakeem Nicks.
Assuming Nicks comes back healthy, any reason to not take this? It would hurt RB depth; I have Ray Rice, Ahmad Bradshaw, and DeMarco Murray that I can play but little else now that Cedric Benson got hurt. 10/10/2012 2:48:32 PM |

Hooray! Got Vick Ballard in my 16 team PPR league, though I doubt I'll flex him over Denarius Moore or Mike Williams this week. Could be very useful in Week 7 & 8 when I have several people on bye.
I currently have Locker to backup Schaub at QB in same league. Someone dropped Palmer & I have #7 waiver priority. Thinking about picking him up and dropping Locker, but should I wait to see if he clears waivers? 10/10/2012 3:25:30 PM |

Maclin vs Det Mike Williams vs KC Hixon vs SF
I also possess the ability to play Alex Green as my flex with Reggie Wayne and Greg Jennings at WR
on my other team:
Starting RBs are: McFadden vs ATL Mendenhall vs TEN
and BGE vs CLE at Flex
WRs are Calvin Johnson and Julio Jones...
Is Doug Martin vs KC, Vick Ballard vs NYJ, Hixon vs SF, or Torrey Smith vs DAL worthy of moving any of the above...WRs for Flex obviously. RBs for either flex or RB
