i thought going to the gym to move was the point, not to wear compression garments and worry more about how your butt looks at the moment than exercising

I want some cute skirts for work but so far haven't found anything I like or anything in my price range. Anyone have suggestions where to find cute skirts in the $15-30 range?

Actually, a lot of athletes wear compression attire. I typically work out in an Under Armour compression top. There are a few benefits to this type of clothing:

Quote :
"
A big advantage to using compression shirts is that athletes have been able to maintain their power output during their given sport. The garments are seen to actually slow down the fatigue factor.

These amazing shirts soak up sweat without giving any cold feeling to the athlete and also decrease harmful UV rays.

Benefits of Compression Clothing

* Keeps the muscles warm to prevent muscle strain

* Increases muscular strength and endurance

* Decreases recovery time

* Prevents chaffing and rashes

* Reduces fatigue

* Wicks sweat away from the body

Yeah I looked at Target last night and they didn't have much. But then again the Target I went to half of the women's section had been taken over my futons and other back-to-school crap

i guess i am more worried about the crazies who will try to wear a 3 size too small one and get injured because of it, just like all these teenage girls wearing them under team sport uniforms.

Oh yeah, there's definitely a time limit on how long you should wear them. And you still have to buy the right size for your body. Nothing like a Spanx-induced muffin top. That's a sign you went WAY too small.

Also, I think some folks double- and triple-bag-it with Spanx ... which docs say can cause nerve damage.

I always forget about Gap for some god unknown reason. I'll check them out this weekend. It's been months since I've been to the mall anyway

i'm honestly not 100% sure, but that'd definitely be nice (free birth control that is)

and i also wonder if it covers all forms (ie, the pill, nuva ring, a shot, etc)

and shit - condoms should be free too

I know a few men with hobbity feet thats kind of excessive.. But I normally don't have any issue with hair on feet/toes. Especially since I have dark hair myself.

Periodically I will shave my toes but only if I remember to.

when are they going to come out with a topical ointment that permanently kills hair follicles??

Seriously.

I don't mind shaving the usual suspects, but any dark or excess fuzz on the chin/neck area pisses me off. I wax it, but I'd rather just kill it.

I'd be a little scared if a topical ointment permanently killed hair growth. Seems like that could be used for evil all too easily.

do you guys remember that student that died back in the day. she was trying to get laser treatment and used a cream before hand or something? its been a long long time but a topical cream would scare me a bit. seems to easy.

It was the cream that is used to numb the area beforehand. She had an allergic reaction.

Allergic reactions can happen to anyone with anything.

nair will burn 3 layers off your skin if you leave it too long and they put it on the bottom shelf at the drug store where babies can get it

Funny this thread just got around to Nair/waxing/etc. Just bought my first at-home waxing kit today for my legs. Super nervous! Waiting a few more days for the hair to grow out before I can use it. I am very anxious to see the results!

^I bought a set yesterday for my underarms! I never liked Nair, because it would really irritate my skin, but I figure waxing can't be all bad?? I'd rather not have to shave every day on the cruise!

Same idea for me...I'm going to Disneyworld (finally) this Saturday for about a week and would love to have to avoid shaving every day on vacation!

wasn't the cream just like a topical anesthetic? like lidocaine? i have burn cream with lidocaine in it. i remember after that happened i was sunburned and i was like "oh shit i'm going to die if i use this ER burn cream they gave me"

but

then i realized i was overreacting and basically anything could kill me on a daily basis if i have a reaction to it

i use these wax strips for my eyebrows and stuffs that i get at target. i usually buy nads or there is some other french sounding brand. they are strips and you apply them and rip it off. i usually cut the eyebrow ones into tiny strips because they are really big and scary mistakes can happen.

i want to try the heat up wax for underarms etc

is that what you guys bought? the legit heat up put it on with a popsicle stick kind? what is the brand?

and i believe so. free for people that have insurance, anyway.
