We have to have the worst shooting team in the NCAA's. The only time we can score is on a dunk or layup, with the occassional Scott Wood three. Lowe may have recruited some athletes, but you can't rely on dunking or driving to the lane every time, somebody has to be able to shoot.

I really like the way Lorenzo is developing at the point. Perhaps we should bench both Javi and Harrow. He creates a lot of baskets on his own which is something we obviously have trouble doing.

Leslie played harder in the 2nd half but his first half showing was downright embarrassing. So many what the fuck moments. I just wish he'd give it his all and try to play within himself.

Howell seems to have lost his confidence. Benching him again didn't seem like the right move when we needed rebounding more than ever. Even still, all these missed shots around the basket are starting to become a big problem.

Tracy has never recovered from his injury. This was a tough matchup for him but still... He just isn't able to get on the glass, his soft touch around the basket is off, he lacks explosiveness, etc. Devastating injury he's gone from an elite player to an above average ACC player. We couldn't afford that.

Nice to see Javi have a solid game today, too bad he couldn't get hot though.

Painter got swallowed out there but it looked like he gave effort.

Scott Wood total no show, tough matchup for him.

CJ Williams had some great finishes but his jumpshot was way off all game.


Total trainwreck, if we keep them off the boards we had a great chance to steal this one as UNC really couldn't hit anything especially considering we gave them wide open looks all game.

This is really unravelling, we needed to steal the BC or Clemson game when we had the opportunity.

so with all the shit costner got for not trying, i wonder if people are now more willing to give at leas a small percentage of the blame to lowe considering how little effort smith seems to be giving lately. if a coach consistently has his players quit on him, when does it stop being 100% the players' fault?

Whoever takes over for lowe is going to walk into a stacked team and is going to have an easy time showing improvement.

Yow will have him gone immediately after we lose the acct game.

i expect there will be some player movement. but the next coach should still have talent to work with unless literally the entire team transfers. cj williams as a senior will be a solid acc player for instance. wood as a jr. howell as a jr with a real big man coach and not just a guy who sits on the bench thinking about how to get recruits to come here.

The problem is if Leslie leaves we're almost certainly not a tournament team next year either unless we have massive improvement from everyone.

Losing Tracy and Leslie is just a death blow.


Hell, even if Leslie returns we are a 50/50 tournament team assuming massive improvement.

Now two years from now, we'll be ready to go assuming we can return our players and they don't transfer as far away from Raleigh as they possibly can.

I can't believe Harrow didn't even try to play in one of our biggest games of the year. That was disappointing.

However, I'm so excited for the impending coaching search. The stage is set.

If I recall correctly, Harrow had to be taken to the hospital in HS because he tried to play a game with the flu. I can see why they wouldn't want him to play. For all we know he could have been sitting there dieing to get on the court and the coaches wouldn't let him.

Actually, I payed five bucks a year ago to voice my displeasure about Sidney Lowe. Harrow shouldn't have made any comments about the wolfpack family. Our school is way bigger than Harrow, Leslie and Brown. There in lies alot of this teams problems. Stay classy!!
