I think hot glue would be a quick and easy way to attach it. If you are looking to protect the purses, maybe a layer of foam or quilt batting on the inside would work well, and it might make it look better on the outside as well, maybe put some buttons on the outer fabric to add texture and attach it to the batting/foam.

ive never worn snakeskin before so i'm unsure how to style it but these shoes were too good for me to pass up. i think snakeskin looks cheesy normally but these didnt seem cheesy to me

once you take an exotic pattern and put it on a more sexy shoe is where you get in that skanky territory

For the spice rack, I love Alton Brown's idea of spice organization. He has these little jars with spices. He puts a velcro strip running down his cabinet, and attaches velcro to small jars.

Here's a nice link to someone's instructable of a magnetic one. You could do these above a stove too. I think they look awesome.

Agreed. And just be sure to pair it with simple clothing and accessories. I have a couple of pairs of snakeskin shoes. My fav is a red pair similar to what Wolfy posted. LOVE THEM. And I get a ton of compliments on them.

But I typically wear all black or a black top and jeans every day. So I also tend to have a bit more fun with accessories.

I love wearing a basic black wrap dress with red snakeskin heels. Or jeans with a skinny, black or white tank.

i have these, well the knock off since i'm not spending $300 on a pair of shoes, and i wear them all the time. i have to get them re-soled but they're perfect. i can even get away with them at work with a black pencil skirt and a simple top. just adds a bit of fun.

and no, my office has no qualms about the peep toe shoe.

Just curious, do most of y'all have dress codes at work? My field is uber casual ... jeans and a tee every day. I'm wearing skinny jeans, a black tank and flat black sandals today. God forbid I eventually get a job that requires more formal attire. I'm spoiled.

For clinic:

Clothing

Outer garments must be in good taste (style and fit), clean, in good repair and well pressed.
Clothing with holes, frayed edges or patches is not acceptable.
Skirt length shall be no shorter than two inches above the top of the knee and may not be
tight fitting. Knee length skirts/dresses are not recommended for clinics where you sit across
from patients without an opaque desk or where you interact/play with children.
Dress shorts and capri pants are not permitted in clinic.
Halter-tops and tank tops are not permitted, without a cardigan/jacket. Low cut and/or
revealing tops are not appropriate, e.g. off the shoulder tops, spaghetti strap tank tops and
proper undergarments shall be worn. Cleavage should not be visible.
Tops should be long enough to cover the skin where the shirt meets the pants/skirt. T-shirts
are not allowed in clinic.
Dress pants should be worn in clinic. Therefore, jeans of any color and cargo pants are not
acceptable for clinic. Pants shall not be tight fitting.
Spandex, leggings, athletic wear, and sweat suits shall not be worn.
Appropriate socks or hosiery must be worn with shorter skirts.


Shoes
Shoes must be clean and in good condition.
Heels shall be no higher than three inches.
Casual sandals, flip flops, Birkenstocks and canvas sneakers shall not be worn to clinic.
Casual sandals are acceptable for walking between buildings on campus. Shoes should be
changed back to dress shoes upon entering professional buildings to provide patient care.
Closed-toe shoes are required when in direct contact with the laboratory.


For class:


Each student is expected to dress in a way that does not serve a distraction to learning.

Dress shorts, jeans and Capri pants may be worn in the classroom.
T-shirts may be worn in the classroom. Attire should never be offensive, disruptive, or
provocative (e.g., racist slogans, obscene words or words with a double meaning or political
slogans are not acceptable).
Casual sandals are acceptable for the classroom.


General guidelines:

Piercings

Facial body piercing is not permitted other than in the ear lobe.

Hair
Hair should be clean and neat.
Hair may not be dyed unnatural colors.
Hair ornaments should be moderate and in good taste.
Well-groomed, closely trimmed beards, sideburns, and mustaches are allowed.

Daily Hygiene
Daily hygiene must include clean teeth, hair, clothes, and body, including use of deodorant.
Clothing should be clean and in good condition.

Nails
Nails must be conservative in length (not longer than ½ inch beyond the fingertip) and must
be neatly manicured.
If nail polish is used, it may not be black, blue, green, purple, or yellow shades. No nail
jewelry or nail art is permitted.

Scents
Men and women’s scents are permitted if mild and not used to mask body odor.

Make-up
Make-up should be used to enhance a natural look and should not detract from a person’s
appearance.
Extreme or excessive make-up will not be allowed.

I was told (by the old lady I was replacing)that our dress code was business casual, but now I'm the only girl so I just wear whatever I want as long as I'm not all hanging out of it. Today I was a bit lazy and just put on a maxi and comfy sandals

My company is even a smidge more strict. But my department gets a pass because we're "wacky creative folks." Hence why people show up in shorts and graphic tees. And everyone else in the company hates us.

My gf works in HR and you can't even highlight your hair if it's even the slightest bit obvious that you highlighted it. And god forbid your roots show in the slightest. Home you go! No peep toes. No slingbacks. Heels must be lower than 3". Must wear hose. Ick.

my office is the SAME way. i'm totally spoiled. we're extremely casual - jeans, tshirts, and tennis shoes are fine. just no graphic tees (or tees with a logo on them), flip flops (rainbows and shower shoes - basically no rubber flip flops), no tank tops, and no shorts.

what's sad is that there are still folks who don't abide by our dress code and there's rumblings they're going to make us more business casual i mean how hard is it to put a cardigan OVER your spaghetti strap tank top or you know, NOT wear leggings as pants or maybe change out of your ugly $2 rubber flip flops into some nice sandals.

luckily i'm in the office only 3 days a week so it wouldn't be the end of the world for me if i had to dress up a bit more. normal attire for me is a nice shirt or tank/cardigan with jeans and flats or a dress with a cardigan and some nice heels.

drink LOTS of water, avoid salty foods - muscles cramp when they're dehydrated. heating pad, moving around (go for a walk) usually helps.

well, while the lining is shedding there are broken blood vessels. aspirin really does thin the blood, making you bleed more- you could also notice that the blood is brighter in color, indicating that it is fresher. i'm not sure it makes your period last longer though.

i never had a problem with PMS but i know certain birth controls can help alleviate some of the symptoms. i don't know if this is something you've maybe talked to your GYN about it.

Goldengirl, I have been having the dame problem recently. I've been on bc since I was 16, but in the last 6 months my pms symptoms have gotten considerably worse. My Dr. Suggested a different type of bc other than the pill. One that uses only one hormone rather than 2. But the cost difference may prevent me from giving it a try.
