Was there really a USA Today article that said "Tigers in 3 games?" I heard them talking about that on Fox. Looks like that won't be the case. 3 more games to go. Hopefully they can save Carpenter for the first game at Busch.

What do you mean a sore loser? It's not like he could run 90 feet, much less around the diamond, so I doubt he had anything to do with a Tiger loss... 10/27/2006 11:39:51 PM |

Yeah seriously what a toolbag. They beat the Padres, Mets, and Tigers, and they're bad? That's some odd logic.
This is awesome though. I will admit I thought we'd beat the Padres just because of how we dominate them, but in the back of my mind, I didn't give them a shot in the NLCS or the World Series. It feels so much better to win 83 games and win the World Series than to win 100+ and bow out in the NLCS or get swept in the World Series. Our entire pitching staff was awesome. There is no other way to describe them. And Yadier Molina, wow. Catchers aren't supposed to hit that well. Who would have thunk the Cards would win (in 5 games no less) with Pujols batting .200?

Black tee, white block letters. My relatives out there saw it on TV and were pretty pissed about it...and want him gone hahaha (well thats extreme but they want him to stfu). He just won the world series and he's out there campaigning for animals. 10/31/2006 12:11:43 AM |

Alright I always thought we should have held on to him. We are taking players from the Angels a lot now, Eckstein, Spiezio, Edmonds, Weaver and now Kennedy.
I don't know what happened to him but I always thought Marrero could have been a great catcher who could actually hit, Im glad they are bringing him back for another chance.
Kip Wells probably just needs a shot on a good team, but does this mean we are letting some starters walk? 11/28/2006 5:14:53 PM |

Man, fuck you guys.. there is NO reason to have to make the Mets watch TWO celebrations on the first weekend. First the banner opening day. That's cool since every team does that. But there is NO reason to have the ring ceremony the following game as well. No team does that. The rings are always done later in the year. The only reason that is happening is to rub it in the Mets players faces.
The Cards are quickly climbing up my shit list after Pujols comments and now this.. feels like the late 80's/early 90's again... 3/2/2007 12:00:40 PM |

WTF Preston Wilson.
I have not liked him from day 1. He is other team's leftovers and we are taking him and batting him #2 before Albert. WTF La Russa. Kick his ass to the curb and give Skip or Spiezio a chance. We should have held on to J-Rod instead of Wilson. 4/5/2007 9:47:45 AM |
wolfAApack All American 9980 Posts user info edit post |
we NEED to have somone better batting in front of Pujols. How fucking hard is it to bat in front of him? You know you're going to get something to hit. Duncan isnt a good #2 hitter. I'd like to see Spiezio batting #2. Its not like we're getting anything done later in the order.
Larussa is an idiot though. He'll continue to have someone shitty batting in front of Pujols then tripple cross backwards switch someone in the 7th inning and Taguchi will be batting cleanup. Faggot. 4/9/2007 2:15:21 PM |

Kept losing the lead last night and lost because of a damn attempted double steal. WTF La Russa? Sometimes I do not understand what goes through the man's head.
On a side note, NOBODY is hitting outside of Duncan. Pujols at .200, Edmonds, Speizio, Rolen below .200. 4/19/2007 12:17:35 PM |
