no one cares that you think that the Sabres would hav beaten the Canes. so let's say the Sabres do have their players back, and they are considered the better team. it doesn't matter b/c the Canes still could have beaten them. a lot of people were already pencilling in the Houston Cougars to win the NCAA Championship game in 83' b/c State didn't have the great team that Houston did. we all know how that turned out. the bottom line is no one, not even God himself knows how the game would have turned out if none of the players on both sides were injured. stop bringing this shit up, and whining about it. it's in the past. your team lost deal with it.

What's even more fun, is that in the land of shoulda, woulda, coulda, buffalo probably wouldn't have made it past Ottawa if they had a healthy Hasek. Injuries happen, and that's a part of the game. It also helps that Buffalo sucks. And that we were 3-1 against them in the regular season. With all their starters.

look im not whining, im actually hoping the canes win because then the sabres can knock them off this high horse you have them on, and as mentioned before yes the sabres beat ottawa without having hasek in goal, but if hasek had been in goal, who knows if the canes could have beat them in the senators had knocked the sabres out, we just don't know, I don't necessarily believe that the team that wins the championship is the best team, its just the team that performed well at the end of the season and wasn't missing the most players, that being said, i do believe the senators would have won the stanley cup if hasek had been healthy

As much as I dont like this guys trolling, he is right on the Canes-Sabres series being as close as it can get. I dont neccesarily agree that the injuries allowed us to win yadda yadda, I think we would have won either way, but still, it was damn close, whoever won that series was pretty much the shoe in for the cup. I think the Canes were the better team however, which is why we prevailed, but it was close, and we definetly did not whup the sabres.
