From what I've read, it's gonna kind of like the online companion to the MGS4. Sold separately but released at the same time. It uses the same graphics engine, same characters, and all the new combat and stealth mechanics introduced in MGS4.

I watched that video...it really looks the same as every metal gear - i'm actually kind of disappointed.

The whole part where he camo's the floor and the guard walks right by, i mean comeon - how is that not visible by the guard ? Then he sneaks up right next to him so I guess guards dont have peripheral vision either? Looks like they are just as dumb as the other games, no real work on the actual A.I. - which I have no idea why that isn't more important. A.I. in games like Thief still trump MGS.

I dunno, i know it's all sneaky-based but so far this video isn't selling something new here.

I'm sure its really fun, but killer app? We'll see about that.

^So you're either lieing about having watched entire video or are just trolling. The entire last 5 minutes of the video was all out battle. No sneaking around, no stealth kills, just all out war. I also don't see how you can make any comment on the graphics when watching a low res video on a tiny screen. The animation was as realistic as you can get in a game. Go check out the HD trailer from a PS3 on a 1080p TV if you want to see a graphics upgrade.

That gameplay video is so awesome.

I think Kainen is right to a point about it looking like its been done before...that is until you get to the battlefield. Sneaking around and taking guys out all the while things are blowing up and AI is all around you shooting at you and eachother is pretty damn awesome.

I definitely welcome the old gameplay because its just great gameplay. I think the battlefield scenes look awesome, and its going to be even more intense than that I think in other areas of the game. I think I read that this game takes place in a bunch of different countries. I'm so pumped for this game.

^^ Its the same thing with Windows. That's how they're on top though, console market (right now) and PC market. Its their strategy to release things as quickly as possible to get the initial interest and a leg up on the competition, and usually the product is far from ready and full of bugs. Its been working.
