I hate Maryland and we need them to lose b/c we could catch them in the standings. We still have a chance at getting a first round bye. If we had been top 4 last year and gotten a bye and gotten to the finals, I think that we would have probably won it.


Ralph Sampson #18 greatest player of all time by ESPN. I think Ralph Sampson is overrated. I mean they never even won the ACC Tournament while he was there. They did finish first in the ACC Regular Season in 1981, 1982, and 1983, but that doesn't get you a trophy. I laughed when he tried to dunk the last basket at University Hall and ended up bricking it and falling down.

Is UT really good this year? I try not to watch subpar conferences in major college sports. One thing the SEC has going for it though is that it's not the Big 10. That's a plus...

yeah, Kentucky has never done shit, the SEC didnt make up half the final four two years ago, and they didnt have 6 teams in the tourney, Tennessee wasnt a 2 seed and either a 1 or 2 this year, you are right. Just like you were right about the #7 SOS in the country being "shitty"

IF they got a lot of teams into the tournament, AND had teams highly ranked, AND had a team that wins it all, then yes, yes I would say that conference has been really really good

florida and lsu were not even highly ranked that year. they both squeezed int he tournament then got hot and won 4 or 6 games in a row. WOO CAA IS TIRED OF WINNING SO MUCH

and besides, highly rated sec teams are notorious for being upset early in recent history.

Did any of you just see that on College Gamenight. A FSU player punched the big white guy for Wake. They are going to show it after the commercial break.

Ryan Reid punched Chase McFarland right in the face as they were beginning to run back down the court. He was ejected and will surely be ejected for a couple of games. No reason for that kind of shit in the game. Wake won 78-70.
