yet the home team won by like 30 points, and roughly 2% of people won the pick

I got big in WNBA betting during the summer of 2005, my low point as a gambler. I made charts and had % probabilities and all sorts of measures for each team, just like I do with the real NBA. I even tracked the refs and their tendencies.

I ended up making a nice amount of money because I was able to find so many weak lines over the course of the season. Because so few people bet on the games, the lines aren't as tight as they are for other sports, and its easy to find discrepancies in the spreads, especially for the non-televised games. I was hitting at a nearly 2/3 clip before I abandoned the project when football season started.
