BC-ND is an underrated rivalry. The problem is they don't play each other a lot and I think both schools blame the other. When they do play, they play for the Ireland Trophy, plus BC has a thing about beating a highly ranked/undefeated ND team. It's also known as the Holy War and BC was won the last 6 meetings.

More like BC is a small Catholic school that desperately wants to be the #1 rival of ND (sort of like State/UNC/Duke trifecta)... but the reality is no one at ND gives a flying fuck about Boston College. They are a red headed step child in the ACC and are one nationally. And always will be.
