I mean that all depends on how the occupation is categorized. For example: say it was Financial. That could mean anything from cashing checks at walmart, working commission based sales or being a CFO or something

Nothing is wrong with either one of them.

I've dated enough nurses/teacher/doctors/waitresses/etc over the years to figure out there neither group is more crazy than the other (well...the service industry ladies do tend to be younger/immature/more alcoholic).

I think both professions have a disproportionate amount of women and they have a rather large sample size. So guys tend to date more teachers and nurses...therefore you have more "crazy stories" about dating nurses and teachers. So they get a bad rap and you have, "be careful, she's a teacher/nurse...they're nuts!!"

Every time I go to respond to this I had to preface it with "I'm not a gold digger but" and it just never came out well so I doubt this will come out right but

My last 6 years of dating has been with men who are about to enter their 40s, and they all made significantly more money than I do. It was never an issue. I never really pay for anything other than my own expenses and gifts. If I go food shopping alone I pay for it etc. Not a big deal really.
