Just so you know where I stand, I think that both Louisville and WVU would've been the best additions possible from the start. I think UConn has more to offer than Pitt and Syracuse going forward though being a large public school with the ability (read: cash $) to sink money in to the athletics program and with a better all-around athletic brand.

I could get behind UConn. I'm not in favor of adding Rutgers at all though. My thing with UConn is that we already have 2 football teams (BC and Cuse) up north that I don't care anything about. But at least UConn has basketball, unlike BC. I would have been in favor of adding UConn or Syracuse...but maybe not both.

Also, I'll add that the Rutgers addition helps in securing NYC as a market. Adding Louisville probably doesn't really add much, as all of Kentucky/Southern Indiana is pretty much split between the SEC and Big 10 as it is. They're a better athletic department, no doubt, but they don't really add much in terms of their market, in my opinion.
