Is that saying it occurred in Henderson, NC? Where did you pull that from? The WRAL site only goes back a couple of weeks. That is my hometown so I was trying to figure out what school it happened at. The guy's address is in Apex though which is pretty far away from Henderson.

Edit: Found it right after I posted. So he had sex with her in Henderson but he was a teacher at Athens Drive.

I stumbled across it and wondered WTF happened. Last time I saw her, she was a 17-18 year old freshman at NCSU. Looks like things went way off the rails sometime after that.

Yeah, when I met her she was an RA in my building I think her sophomore year. After I saw you post that I contacted someone I know that was closer to her than I was, apparently she died of an overdose not long after that arrest

We weren't close or anything...just acquaintances. She was pledging the sorority house next door for a while, but she quit that. She was friends with a girl one of my friends ultimately ended up marrying. We found ourselves at some of the same parties...had a one night stand once.

At any rate, I saw she defriended me on Facebook a couple of years ago...I figured it was just a friends purge, narrowing it down to people she actually still had contact with. I was curious the other day, looking up a bunch of people I knew in college, and found her arrest record when I googled her name. I guess she didn't defriend me...someone probably deactivated her account when she died.
