Oh, and GREAT decision to have Bosh guard Dirk one on one with the game on the line.

I'm now a Mavs fan for the moment.

-Terry presses Lebron fullcourt bringing the ball down.
-Marion switches onto lebron as he gets into the offense with ~15 seconds on the shot clock
-Marion switches any dribble handoff to Wade/Lebron out top so that he will eb defending them on the perimeter
-shotclock is under ten outside of the 3pt line after one pass and wade or lebron take a tough shot over marion.

Great coaching. Those two points from lebron at the line were on a bogus foul call.

Let's get one thing straight. Kobe Bryant will never be as good as Lebron. It's not even really close.

People just magically forget that when Kobe was the best player on his team the Lakers went a combined below .500 over three fucking seasons. And that was with Kobe in his prime.

Lebron catches shit for not winning 70 games in the regular season, not leading a team that won 25 games without him to a championship.

Kobe can't go .500 with better surrounding talent than Lebron had.

There is no argument at all.

most if not all players have argued calls, even if they were either clearly guilty of committing a foul, or if they try to sell a foul against them

but Wade was extra-cunty on the play right before I posted that...although Chandler might've bodied him a little haha

and it seems like reporters in the press conference with Lebron and Wade can't let go the 'celebration' in front of the Dallas bench

Wade is always a whiny cunt. I hate that fucker. His go to move is to create contact no matter what and go to the foul line. His extreme lower body padding is a sign of his whiny cuntness.

That was an amazing comeback by Dallas last night. I am not a Heat hater like a lot of the people on this board so I really do not care who wins. If Lebron gets his first title, then good. If Dirk gets his title, then I'm happy for him as well. Shocking though to see the Heat just fall apart especially at home where they have been outstanding in the playoffs.

The Heat offense down the stretch was horrible, but the defense was just laughable. What the fuck was Lebron doing not helping off Terry onto Dirk on the game winning layup? I've seen better help defense in wheelchair basketball games. At least force Terry to make that pressure three as opposed to letting Dirk get an easy layup.

Glad to see this series shaping up to be a 6 or 7 game set now.

I think the bigger issue is letting Terry get untracked at all. One of Spoelstra's best adjustments going into the series was sticking Lebron on Terry for stretches throughout the game then most of the 4th. For some reason (injury?), Mike Miller was out of the game for most of the 4th quarter last night -> forcing Lebron to guard Marion -> leaving Chalmers on Terry. Chalmers is a serviceable defender, but obviously can't shut down Terry like Lebron, nor can he switch off of Terry to guard any of the bigs/Marion on a pick-and-roll. Game-tying 3 aside, it's not like Chalmers is an offensive threat either, so I have no idea why (assuming Miller is injured) Spoelstra doesn't re-insert Joel Anthony back into the lineup to guard Dirk/Marion, and slide Lebron back onto Terry.

The Heat staff/players adjusted/executed very poorly during the last 7 minutes; but still - Carlisle made the right adjustments, and Dirk activated beast mode.

yeah, i was surprised by his stoicism, too. i think part of it was the german in him refusing to show emotion, but a bigger part of it was also him essentially saying, "calm down, we still have a lot of work to do."

and Wade is most definitely one of the whiniest cunts in the NBA

mavs in 5 or 6

does anyone have a link to this Miami Heat's premature celebration with a Dwyane Wade-and-LeBron James dance routine right in front of the Mavs bench?

i stepped away and missed it but heard the post news conference referring to this constantly

It wasn't a dance routine. Wade lifted both his arms up for a long 3 seconds after making the 3 and then LeBron came over to him and started doing some of the ridiculous LeBron shit he always does. It isn't anything we haven't seen a million times from those guys before. Just fastforward to the 2:50 mark in this video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Y_SHyVpS-k

It doesn't show all of it, but it gets most of it.

EDIT: Also, just curious: did anyone else notice when LeBron completely quit on the 3-on-1 breakaway where Dirk tied the game at 90 with a layup? He just stopped running when the three Mavs were only a little bit ahead of him; if he kept running, he easily could've caught up to them and gave Bosh help and POSSIBLY could've even blocked Dirk's lefty layup. You can see it in the video posted above between the 3:20 and 3:25 mark, bottom left hand corner of the video; he just quits.

oh ok that replay i saw, the celebration was not that bad but they shouldn't have done it in front of the mavs bench

lebron could have also tried to block dirk's last game winning shot from the left wing but he didn't attempt to either

i'm still worried for the mavs they need to reduce turnovers and get their big men to play better....
haywood was good defensiveness but poor offensively and am kind of glad he is out.....chandler is playing like a beast, but other than that no other real big men to do a better job of boxing out and getting more rebounds and too many heat easy drives/dunks.......and i'm worried if the heat go back to double teaming dirk....

always love dirk's facial expressions

mavs and heat are total opposites.......humble vs. showy

Mavs can't play much worse than that aside from matrix. Miami got so many easy dunks off of turnovers. If Bosh plays like he played in game two, the heat don't stand a chance.

I'm impressed that Dallas was able to get it close down the stretch with Dirk having such a bad game until the very end where he turned it on. Just an unbelievable game by Shawn Marion and Deshawn Stevenson of all people with a great game.

Chris Bosh was god awful, that guy might be the biggest jeckyl & hyde player in the league right now. From game to game he can be the best or worst player on the court.

If Miami had used their bi-annual exception on Ben Wallace like I suggested in the offseason they'd really be unbelievable. Joel Anthony is just killing them out there and he's still their best option. I've never seen a worse rebounding center start in the playoffs.

Haslem blew his wad in game 2 of the eastern conference, he's been worthless since. The Heat need someone to step up because Wade/Lebron really can't play much better than that and I doubt Bibby has many more great games left in his tank this series.

Really? Lebron shot well enough, but he had ZERO impact at all down the stretch. 20, 8 and 4 with 5 turnovers doesn't strike me as a line the "best player in the NBA" puts up at his best.

I'm sure lots of previous "best players in the NBA" scored zero field goals in the 4th quarter of an NBA Finals game

even though guys like Jordan and Kobe and Bird and pretty much every other superstar ever never did it
