10 team league. Put clay in for Graham, didn't think he would return or play more than a few snaps. Played Mike Wallace over stevie and Steven Jackson over Ellington 10/27/2013 6:34:58 PM |

Ellington has looked amazing since he started getting any kind of playing time.

I fully understand the Graham decision. Dude got a whopping THREE balls thrown his way and he was limping around with a shredded tendon in the arch of his foot.

Brady...I thought this would finally be the week!
and Brady has actually been a stud fantasy QB for the last decade+ (aside from the 1 season he got injured by the chiefs in week 1)
Vick hasn't been a reliable fantasy QB since he was in Atlanta

Need to pick up a QB this week for Peyton's bye week. I'm leaning T. Pryor over J. Locker at this point. But am I crazy to drop SJax at this point in the season? My other RB's are:
D. Murray, Z. Stacy, D. Woodhead, and M. James (.5 PPR league)
SJax has two bad matchups in a row coming up, CAR & SEA Defenses. I think he's done after this week's performance. 10/29/2013 10:24:14 AM |
ncstatetke All American 41128 Posts user info edit post |
I'd be careful with Murray. They have a committee of 4 RBs, so not great for PPR league.
I need a QB also, with Kaepernick on a bye. Choices are Pryor, Locker, Alex Smith, or Foles. Leaning towards Smith in a good defensive matchup 10/29/2013 10:39:49 AM |

^^ smith is probably your safest pick. I might take a shot on Pryor though, I feel like he has more potential to have a big game, or a negative game..
I need a WR replacement, and there's some big names on the waiver who aren't having good seasons. PPR.
Marques Colston (most owned) Dwayne Bowe DeAndre Hopkins Nate Washington Ted Ginn (highest points in FA)
It sounds pretty nuts to not say Colston, but he really hasn't done anything at all. I'm kinda leaning Hopkins but I don't know about Case Keenum.. 10/30/2013 7:52:12 AM |

Okay - about half my team is on bye - so some patch work to do. I need to play three receivers - I have
Eddie Royal vs. WAS Hartline vs. Cin Edleman vs. Pit Jones vs. Mia
Also - I've been offered Nicks for SJax
Thoughts?

^^ not much there, but I'd probably think Hopkins has the most upside.
^ I'd accept that trade. And probably start hartline, nicks, and maybe Edelman. That's a rough set of WRs though.
I never in a million years thought I'd ask this...but: Brady vs PIT or Locker @ STL 10/30/2013 10:26:51 AM |
LudaChris All American 7946 Posts user info edit post |
^Never thought I'd recommend this, but you have to bench Brady until he gets something going with that offense. I'd go Locker, he's been solid fantasy-wise every game he's started and played the full game.
Is Colston worth keeping in a 10-team non-ppr? He's put up 1 point each of the last 3-4 games. Other WRs are S. Smith, H. Nicks, H. Douglas, J. Blackmon, K. Allen. Have some other BYE positions to fill and I'm just not sure when is the right time to cut ties with Colston. Feel like I'm keeping him now because of the name more than the production. 10/30/2013 10:39:21 AM |
ncstatetke All American 41128 Posts user info edit post |
cut him. he's dead weight at this point
anybody else looking at Timmy Wright? I'm desperate due to a bunch of injuries and bye weeks, so I'm taking a flyer on him. He is Glennon's #2 target now that Mike Williams is out for the season. I liked what I saw on Sunday night and he could be a nice safety valve for Glennon when he's getting pressured by the Seahawks defense 10/30/2013 10:44:44 AM |

^^Colston was killing me. There are so many other options for Brees, I just dont think he is worth the risk at this point. I dropped him for Kennen Allen a couple weeks ago.
^I hate playing any receiving option against the Seahawks D. There have to be better TE options available.
Should I start Nate Washington v STL or Kennen Allen v Wash
also Should I start Arian Foster v Ind , who is a gametime decision for Sunday night or should I pickup Ogbonnaya v Bal 10/30/2013 12:19:15 PM |

This is my dilemma, but on the DEF side. I have PIT (who is playing NE this week). Tried to get the TEN DEF, but lost out on waiver priority. Since it's a shallow league (16 teams), my only other options are MIA & STL. Was thinking about getting STL, but I'm scared of how well Locker might do. I figured I'd just roll with the Steelers and hope for the best.10/30/2013 12:57:28 PM |

wow, just realized I have a lot of options this week (in a good way I think): QB: Romo v MIN -or- Rivers @ WAS WR2: Boykin v CHI -or- Jeffery @ GB TE: Graham @ NYJ -or- Reed v SD FLEX: one of the losers from WR2/TE above
the first guy listed is currently in. I've got Jeffery at Flex. double TE may not be a bad idea though. (non PPR) 10/30/2013 4:26:26 PM |

Was offered Megatron for Stafford. I have Pryor & pretty sure I can work a deal to get Kaepernick. Have Jordy, Fitz, Keenan Allen at WR. AllDay and Lynch at RB.
This is a no brainer right?? 10/30/2013 8:42:33 PM |
justinh524 Sprots Talk Mod 27840 Posts user info edit post |
I don't think it's a no brainer. Stafford is arguably the second best fantasy qb this yea r (#2 in one of my leagues and #3 in the other) behind only Peyton. Would you trade Drew Brees for Megatron? Because Stafford and Brees are having pretty identical seasons.
Pryor or Kaepernick aren't going to be nearly as consistent and you could very well end up with single digit scoring from your QB spot.
I probably wouldn't do this unless you could get a better option to replace Stafford(i.e. someone more likely to throw for more than 150 yards) . I may be in the minority in this opinion though. 10/30/2013 9:10:53 PM |
Matlock All American 1255 Posts user info edit post |
^^To me it would depend on the scoring in your league, is a thrown TD worth 4 or 6 points for a QB? What kind of yardage bonuses are their for each positions. If it's a standard scoring league, I would probably pull the trigger, but like ^ said, I would want more value at my QB position than Pryor or Kaepernick.
Panthers D/ST vs. ATL or Titans D/ST @ STL 10/31/2013 8:42:36 AM |
gopack80 Veteran 190 Posts user info edit post |
I'd go Panthers.
League is 6 point passing TD's, no bonuses for yardage, but it is 20 yards per point for QB.
Main thing keeping me from pulling the trigger is that nobody else in this league will f'ing trade. I'm willing to go with Kap, but the guy who has him (who also owns Aaron Rodgers) won't budge. Offered him Stacy and Witten for Kap. He has no decent TE and needs RB's. That's why he's 2-6 I guess. 10/31/2013 9:43:40 AM |
death cab Veteran 266 Posts user info edit post |
^^ I dropped Panthers to pick up Tennessee. Titans also play Jax in week 10, so that factored into my decision.
^ As much as I want Megatron, I don't think that deal helps your team. I think you're getting the better player, but your overall lineup takes a hit, so it's an unfortunate no for me.
I'm in a bye week bind. Bush, Moreno out. Need a RB, PPR league, pick one:

^^ I'd prob go w/Foles, but none of those are appealing options.
And I just decided to roll the dice and bench Harry Douglas and go w/Marvin Jones tonight. I sat on him last week and left 40 pts on the bench. This now means Jones will either get knocked out of the game in the first series or will see no endzone targets, but such is the will of the fantasy gods.

Made a trade this week so my receivers are Megatron, AJ Green, Jordy Nelson, Keenan Allen & Percy Harvin. Was hoping to start Percy this week in my flex spot, but now that he's declared out at least through this week, I feel like I'll never need him since those first 3 guys should be (barring injury) occupying my WR + flex spots for the rest of the season.
So now, who to pick up in place of Harvin?
- Jordan Reed? Have Cameron (bye next week) and J. Thomas, but if Thomas isn't back next week, I'll need a TE.
- D/ST? Have NE (bye next week) so I can get my pick of the FAs without having to worry about waivers. Houston, Arizona, Indy are the most attractive options. 10/31/2013 9:58:55 PM |
