I thought it was when he got slammed to the ground and one of his teammates basically pulled him up before it looked like he was ready. He looked all dazed and stuff but stayed in the game for a minute. I think it was in the Georgia Southern game.

that Illy game was my first time watching this team.

-- Impressed with Dorn, Johnson, and Abu.
-- Sad to see Anya's regression.
-- Kapita is a beast, but can't pass or handle the ball.
-- Hendy has potential, but clearly cant create his own shot (Ralston Turner come again?)
-- DSJ's body language confuses me and he is not a replacement for Cat (yet). He reminded me alot of Cat in his freshman campaign (cant hit consistent 3, turnover prone, shows flashes of brilliance, etc). Only thing he has more of than Cat is media hype!

Still early and the team is figuring out how to play together. I agree this is a make or break year for Gott though. Have to make the tournament at the very minimum I would say but who knows anymore.

Most "talented" team we've had in a long time, with what could be a 9-11 man rotation (so the most depth).. I doubt he would get fired for almost anything this year, but his seat would get very hot I would think if we're not in.

No I don't think he will be fired simply because he has two sweet 16s on his resume with us. To be fair to him that is rather impressive given where we were before him. However this is a very talented team but more importantly a team that has depth. It would be heartbreaking not to make the tournament this year but if we aren't making the NCAAs then players like DSJ and Abu aren't going to be lottery picks. I believe if DSJ and Abu want to be first round picks they will play well enough to get us to the NCAAs.
